📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design for product areas, from problem definition through research, prototyping, and shipping to real users.
• Design and prototype complex, multi-step operational workflows using Figma and AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Conduct direct interviews with wealth advisors to uncover pain points and inform design decisions.
• Evolve and uphold the company’s design system to ensure consistency, clarity, and high-quality user experiences across all interfaces.
• Simplify high-data-density, regulated financial workflows into intuitive, AI-first interfaces that reduce advisor administrative burden.
• Ship frequently and iteratively, prioritizing real user feedback over prolonged planning cycles.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineers to define what to build, not just how to build it.
• Advocate for design excellence by giving and receiving direct, constructive feedback to refine solutions.
• Challenge assumptions and ask hard questions to ensure the product solves the right problems for advisors.
• Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into clean, usable designs without sacrificing compliance or functionality.
• Focus on clarity, simplicity, and execution in every visual, interaction, and microcopy decision.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with real ownership over product outcomes.
• Contribute to a mission-driven product that transforms wealth management by giving advisors back time to focus on clients.
• Build tools that replace outdated, paper-heavy advisor software with modern, AI-powered automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing complex, multi-user products with high data density
• Proficiency in Figma and experience using AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor for design and prototyping
• Demonstrated ability to simplify intricate, high-stakes workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces
• Comfort working in ambiguity and partnering with product and engineering teams to define product direction
