📋 Description

• As a Product Designer at 1Password, you will contribute to the design of meaningful product experiences that make security clear, usable, and trustworthy for individuals and businesses, owning well-defined features and problem spaces while partnering with product managers, engineers, and researchers to understand user needs and deliver high-quality work aligned with customer goals and business priorities.
• Day to day, you will explore solutions through prototyping and iteration—including using AI-generated mockups—participate in design critiques, collaborate on shared design standards, and take ownership of features from discovery through delivery, with increasing independence and complexity over time.
• You will join the Experience, Design and Research (EDR) team at 1Password, a human-centered design group at the heart of the company’s mission to build a safe, productive digital future through innovative security products trusted by over 180,000 businesses worldwide.
• In this role, you will grow your product thinking, strengthen your design craft, deepen your ability to balance usability, accessibility, and security, and develop expertise in designing for complex domains like cybersecurity and SaaS, while contributing to team culture through feedback, mentorship, and process improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant design experience at a product-driven company
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with AI prototyping tools e.g. Figma Make, Cursor
• A portfolio of recent project work demonstrating your craft, design process, and the impact of your work on users
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and/or User Research to ship designs
• Growing product thinking and an ability to make informed design decisions using research, data, and a clear point of view
• Ability to work independently with some support, take ownership of your projects, and actively seek feedback to improve
