📋 Description

• Own and define the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery plans for Airwallex’s Financial Markets team, including FX platform, Liquidity Platform, and Stablecoin platform.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering growth, accountability, and execution excellence.
• Partner with engineering and design teams to build scalable, high-quality features across web and mobile platforms, ensuring clarity on requirements, trade-offs, and timelines.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, legal, and finance teams to navigate regulatory and operational complexity while delivering simple, intuitive products for global business clients.
• Deeply understand user needs, target markets, and competitive landscape, leveraging customer and partner feedback to inform product prioritization and strategy.
• Manage trade-offs between long-term product vision and near-term growth in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Lead the expansion of financial markets into new verticals and use cases, validating opportunities and driving new propositions from concept to launch.
• Monitor product performance metrics, drive continuous operational improvements, and maintain awareness of evolving trends in finance, payments, and technology.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert on money movement and foreign exchange within Airwallex, advising cross-functional teams on financial product capabilities and constraints.
• Champion fast iteration and end-to-end ownership of product initiatives, balancing speed with rigor and first-principles thinking.
• Use AI tools and data-driven insights to accelerate problem-solving and enhance product decision-making.
• Work cross-culturally and cross-functionally across global teams to align on product goals and deliver unified experiences for over 200,000 businesses worldwide.
• Translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear product narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset, focusing on building 0-to-1 products that solve real business needs in global financial markets.
• Drive product innovation while adhering to Airwallex’s operating principles of founder-like energy, humility, collaboration, and getting stuff done.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of overall professional experience in Product Management
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Proven experience building and launching 0-to-1 financial products, particularly in FX, liquidity, or stablecoin domains
• Strong ability to communicate product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience managing complex trade-offs between long-term vision and short-term growth in fast-paced environments
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, legal, compliance, and commercial functions
