đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Engineer (Frontend) at Kernel Medical Devices, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of an AI-powered RevOps platform that processes approximately 30 billion tokens daily and supports enterprise clients like Navan, Gong, and AlphaSense. Your work will directly impact how revenue operations teams interact with critical company data, enabling smarter, faster decision-making through intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
- • You will design and develop product features that directly influence user workflows, collaborating closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. This includes writing and maintaining clean, reliable, and scalable code across the stack, ensuring performance and reliability for large-scale data operations, automating workflows to improve developer velocity, supporting CRM and third-party API integrations, and contributing technical insights during roadmap discussions.
- • Kernel is a small but mighty team of around 30 people, including just 7 engineers, where autonomy, initiative, and rapid execution are valued over bureaucracy. You’ll work in a central London office with top-spec equipment, collaborating directly with founders and senior engineers who have built systems handling transaction volumes comparable to the entire Visa network daily.
- • In this role, you will own projects end-to-end—from ideation to deployment—helping Kernel scale from $3M to $30M ARR. You’ll deepen your expertise in frontend engineering with NextJS, React, and TypeScript while gaining hands-on experience with LLM application patterns (RAG, prompt engineering), AI-driven data products, and workflow automation tools like n8n, positioning you at the forefront of enterprise AI infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software or product engineering experience with a proven track record of building and scaling production systems
- • Expert-level proficiency in frontend engineering, including NextJS, React, and TypeScript, with a strong eye for design and ability to bring complex interfaces to life
- • Strong understanding of LLM application development patterns (such as RAG, prompt engineering, and consistency testing), either through production experience or demonstrated personal projects, coupled with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range of £110,000 – £170,000 per year plus equity participation
- • 24 days of annual holiday plus bank holidays, plus 2 weeks of work-from-anywhere flexibility
- • Top-spec equipment, a central London office, free dinner at the office, pension plan, and regular team events and dinners
- • Visa sponsorship and relocation support for exceptional candidates moving to London
- • Direct collaboration with founders to scale systems powering enterprise AI, with opportunities to shape product and infrastructure decisions
