• • As a Product Engineer at Rox, you will be an integral part of a product-first, execution-driven engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust, real-world systems that are utilized daily by revenue teams operating at scale. This means that every architectural decision, whether it pertains to the frontend, middle-tier, or backend, will have a direct and tangible impact on our customers. We foster a collaborative environment where Product Engineers are not siloed. While you will have clear areas of expertise, you are expected to possess a holistic understanding of how the entire system functions. This includes comprehending how UI state maps to APIs, how frontend choices influence backend load, and how product experiences scale effectively as our customer base grows.
• • This specific Product Engineer role is designed for individuals who possess true expertise in React and hold strong opinions regarding frontend quality, architecture, and user experience. You will take ownership of significant portions of our product's surface area. This involves building intricate React interfaces, actively shaping our frontend architecture, and implementing the crucial middle-tier logic that seamlessly connects user interface experiences with our backend systems. While this is not a role that requires deep backend development, you are expected to have a solid understanding of backend design principles, integration patterns, and scalability considerations to build clean, durable, and maintainable systems from end to end. If your primary strength does not lie in React, this particular role may not be the ideal fit for your career aspirations.
• • Your core responsibilities will include building and continuously evolving complex, production-grade user interfaces, with React serving as the primary framework.
