Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Intern at Synthflow AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise AI agents by bridging customer needs with product innovation, directly contributing to a platform that has already automated over 20 million hours of operations and handled 150 million interactions with 99.99% uptime.
  • • You will work in Berlin alongside the founding team and senior leadership, gaining unparalleled exposure to how AI-native products are conceived, built, and scaled in a high-growth startup environment where your contributions will have immediate impact.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include talking to customers to uncover pain points, desires, and opportunities for improvement, translating those insights into actionable product directions.
  • • You will build functional prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) using cutting-edge AI-native tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Claude, and v0, enabling rapid experimentation and validation of ideas.
  • • You will design and implement automations and integrations that connect Synthflow’s platform to customer workflows using tools like Make, n8n, Zapier, and direct API connections, ensuring seamless adoption and value delivery.
  • • You will write clear product specs, user stories, and prioritization frameworks that guide the team’s development efforts and ensure alignment across engineering, design, and go-to-market functions.
  • • You will analyze product usage data to identify trends, measure feature adoption, and surface insights that inform what to build next, turning data into strategic product decisions.
  • • You will research competitors, map the AI and automation landscape, and distill findings into strategic insights that shape the product roadmap and positioning.
  • • You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to scope, ship, and iterate on features, acting as a connective tissue between technical execution and user needs.
  • • You will embrace a high-agency mindset, stepping in to tackle whatever needs doing—whether it’s refining a workflow, supporting a launch, or exploring a new idea—because at this stage, the job description is a starting point, not a boundary.
  • • You will develop deep systems thinking, learning how features interconnect, where users encounter friction, and what second-order effects arise from product decisions—skills that are foundational for senior product leadership.
  • • You will strengthen your ability to communicate complex technical and product concepts clearly in English (with German as a plus), both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences including customers, engineers, and executives.
  • • You will grow comfortable navigating ambiguity, transforming vague problems into clear, testable hypotheses and actionable plans—a critical skill in fast-moving AI startups.
  • • You will gain technical credibility to engage meaningfully with engineers while maintaining a strong user-centric curiosity, enabling you to ask the right questions and advocate effectively for customer needs.
  • • You will emerge from this internship with a rare, holistic understanding of how AI products are built at the intersection of technology, design, business, and human behavior—accelerating your growth far beyond what a traditional role might offer in years.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with availability to work full-time in Berlin.
  • • Hands-on experience building real workflows using automation platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar tools—not just theoretical knowledge.
  • • Proven experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0) to build and ship tangible products, features, or automations—not just experimenting with prompts.
  • • Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and integrating systems to connect disparate platforms and enable data flow.
  • • Strong systems thinking: ability to understand how features interact, anticipate user pain points, and evaluate second-order effects of product decisions.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language proficiency is a plus.
  • • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to take open-ended problems and structure them into clear plans, experiments, or prototypes.
  • • Technical fluency to converse credibly with engineers, combined with deep curiosity to engage meaningfully with customers and understand their workflows.
  • • Demonstrated high agency: proactive, self-directed, and willing to take ownership without waiting for explicit direction.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • A real seat at the table—meaningful responsibility and influence from day one, not menial tasks or observation-only work.
  • • Direct, ongoing access to the founding team and senior leadership, including mentorship and strategic exposure typically reserved for senior hires.
  • • A clear pathway to a full-time Product Manager role for high-performing interns, with many past interns receiving offers.
  • • Access to one of the best-designed, most inspiring office spaces in Berlin, fostering collaboration and creativity.
  • • A culture that prioritizes shipping impact over busywork—where speed, experimentation, and bold thinking are rewarded, and process never overrides progress.
  • • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge agentic AI technology at a company backed by top-tier investors (Accel, Atlantic Labs, Singular) and trusted by over 1,000 enterprise customers.
  • • Accelerated learning: you will gain more practical product experience in a few months than many acquire in years, due to the startup’s velocity, autonomy, and founder-led environment.
