- • As a Staff-level Product Lead for Astra's platform layer, you will own the core infrastructure that enables businesses to move money programmatically, shaping how customers interact with Astra’s APIs, developer experience, and extensibility features to transform it from a payments gateway into a programmable payments cloud.
- • Day to day, you will define API contract philosophy, write detailed platform specs, own the platform roadmap, conduct technical discovery with sophisticated customers, partner with engineering on API design, collaborate with solutions teams to translate customer pain points into platform requirements, and drive the developer experience roadmap while representing platform strategy in customer and partnership discussions.
- • Astra is building mission-critical infrastructure for moving money at scale, processing billions in annual transaction volume with 99.9%+ uptime, powering real-time transfers, bank debits, card disbursements, and complex financial compliance systems through APIs and automation tools that enable programmable money movement under strict regulatory requirements.
- • In this role, you will define the platform architecture of a category-defining payments infrastructure company, work directly with the founding team and first Director of Product to influence product and engineering culture, and tackle genuinely hard problems like multi-rail orchestration, programmable money movement, and agentic payment primitives — all while growing professionally in a profitable, Series A fintech with remote-first flexibility and significant impact.
