📋 Description

• Lumana is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Founding Product Manager to establish and lead product management efforts in Israel, working in close collaboration with our R&D organization. This pivotal role is designed to bridge the critical gap between high-level product strategy and meticulous engineering execution, ensuring that every product we develop is precisely aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, and the overarching company vision. Currently, product ownership is distributed and heavily driven by our founders. This new role will assume significant ownership of product definition, prioritization, and delivery across multiple product domains, thereby reducing executive workload while simultaneously accelerating product velocity and enhancing overall quality.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI video security platform, a solution that goes beyond mere recording to truly understand and extract meaningful insights from visual data. • As a founding member of the product team in Israel, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic, fast-growing company backed by top-tier Silicon Valley investors with extensive expertise in AI, computer vision, and machine learning. We have engineered the most intelligent video security solution available, characterized by its ability to identify what's important, act swiftly, and proactively prevent incidents that were once considered inevitable. • Responsibilities will encompass defining and owning product strategy within assigned domains, translating the company's vision into clear, actionable product plans, and making high-judgment prioritization decisions based on customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact. You will own product outcomes from inception through to successful delivery and iteration. This includes managing the entire product lifecycle – from definition, UX/UI collaboration, development, launch, and ongoing iteration. You will be responsible for writing high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and leading core product rituals, working in close partnership with engineering teams on feasibility, sequencing, and delivery, and driving product releases, timelines, and scope trade-offs.
• Cross-functional collaboration is key. You will work deeply with UX/UI designers to shape intuitive and effective user experiences, partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to validate use cases and understand customer pain points, and collaborate with Marketing to validate messaging. Direct engagement with customers will be essential for validating product direction and gathering crucial feedback. Your scope of ownership will include end-to-end product leadership for critical domains such as Parking Workflow, Control Center, and Alarm Management, taking approximately 80% ownership of product decisions within these defined areas. This role is designed to reduce executive workload by simultaneously owning multiple product lines, allowing founders to focus on broader strategic initiatives.
• The market we operate in is proven, competitive, and unforgiving. Product decisions carry significant weight, and reversing them can be costly. Therefore, having senior product leadership embedded directly with engineering, rather than operating at a distance, is paramount to building the right products effectively. You will be expected to demonstrate exceptional clarity, storytelling, and communication skills, possess a user-obsessed mindset with a proven track record of creating customer-loved products, and thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. A strong engineering fluency is required, enabling you to challenge feasibility and assumptions constructively without dictating technical solutions. A clear understanding of ROI, cost, and value trade-offs, coupled with an ownership mindset, is essential. 🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years of product management experience, with demonstrated Director-level scope and maturity.
• Proven ability to work directly and effectively with technical founders and R&D teams.
• Strong systems thinking capability, with a talent for simplifying complexity and making sound trade-offs.
• Deep experience in writing PRDs and running core product management rituals.
• Hands-on builder mentality with a high bias for action and urgency.
• Exceptional clarity, storytelling, and communication skills, coupled with a zero-ego, highly collaborative, and coachable attitude.
• User-obsessed with a track record of developing customer-loved products.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments, demonstrating strong engineering fluency and an ownership mindset.
