- • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for features that power the world’s most advanced digital marketplace for used vehicles, serving OEMs, dealers, fleet operators, rental companies, and financial institutions in ~75 countries.
- • Act as the Voice of the Customer—conduct interviews, site visits, and data analysis to uncover pain points and translate them into clear, prioritized user stories with measurable acceptance criteria.
- • Drive strategic product vision by synthesizing market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives into a living roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term platform evolution.
- • Own and continuously groom a high-velocity product backlog, ensuring every item is tied to quantifiable business value and aligned with OPENLANE’s mission to make wholesale easy and transparent.
- • Lead sprint planning and execution with cross-functional Agile teams (Engineering, UX/UI, Data, Operations) to deliver high-quality web and mobile features on a predictable cadence.
- • Partner deeply with Engineering and Platform teams to evaluate technical trade-offs, champion best practices for continuous delivery, and ensure scalable, secure, and performant solutions.
- • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to refine usability, accessibility, and overall user experience, turning complex workflows into intuitive, modern interfaces that delight both external customers and internal employees.
- • Validate product quality by defining test scenarios, reviewing acceptance criteria, and conducting UAT to guarantee that releases achieve stated business objectives and KPIs.
- • Plan and orchestrate seamless product launches—crafting go-to-market communications, training materials, and rollout strategies that minimize risk and maximize adoption.
- • Leverage analytics and experimentation (A/B tests, cohort analysis, funnel metrics) to measure feature impact, iterate rapidly, and report actionable insights to stakeholders at every level.
- • Champion AI-driven innovation—identify opportunities to embed machine-learning models, predictive analytics, and generative-AI tools into product discovery, documentation, data analysis, and rapid prototyping workflows.
- • Influence without authority by building trust across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and success metrics.
- • Mentor junior Product Owners and Business Analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, data-driven decision-making, and fearless ownership.
- • Contribute to OPENLANE’s broader product community by sharing best practices, hosting knowledge-sharing sessions, and participating in quarterly innovation sprints.
- • Maintain a growth mindset—stay ahead of emerging technologies, industry regulations, and competitive dynamics to keep OPENLANE at the forefront of digital remarketing.
