- • As a Product Manager at Numeral SAS, you will own product areas end-to-end, solving real business problems by identifying what to build, prototyping solutions, shipping with engineering, and ensuring customer adoption — directly impacting how digital businesses navigate complex tax regulations across 47 states and 50+ countries.
- • Day to day, you will talk to customers to understand tax and accounting pain points, prototype ideas using AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor before writing docs, drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, design, sales, and operations, make data-informed trade-offs, and communicate complex ideas clearly to build company-wide conviction.
- • Numeral is the largest and fastest-growing AI-native tax solution, founded in 2023, backed by $57M from Benchmark, Mayfield, and Y Combinator, serving over 3,000 paying customers with tripled annual revenue growth, and operating with a high-ownership culture in SF and NY offices.
- • In this role, you will learn to move from idea to tangible product rapidly using AI-assisted development, sharpen your quantitative rigor in modeling trade-offs and interpreting usage data, deepen your customer discovery and go-to-market execution skills, and grow as a founder-minded leader in a high-growth startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally including time at a high-growth company or as a founder building 0-to-1
- • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to build prototypes and analyze data
- • Exceptional written communication to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable one-pagers for engineers, sales, and customers
- • Quantitative rigor to model trade-offs, interpret usage data, and make resource allocation decisions that hold up under scrutiny
- • A genuine desire to talk to customers and translate their problems into product decisions
- • Startup intensity: comfort with rapid scaling, bias toward action, and willingness to speak up when something isn’t working
