đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Manager at Prezzee Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in transforming strategic objectives, customer needs, and business opportunities into tangible, high-impact product features and solutions. Your primary accountability is to drive the product lifecycle from ideation through to successful delivery, ensuring that what is built aligns perfectly with our mission to change lives through the power of giving.
  • • You will be the driving force behind understanding and articulating customer problems, leveraging data and insights to validate assumptions and define hypotheses. This involves leading discovery initiatives to gain a deep comprehension of user pain points and unmet needs, which will directly inform product strategy and roadmap development.
  • • A core responsibility is the meticulous ownership and prioritization of the squad's backlog. This includes epics, user stories, bug fixes, technical debt, and discovery tasks. Your prioritization framework will be sophisticated, carefully balancing customer value, commercial impact, technical feasibility, development effort, and inherent risks to ensure the most impactful work is tackled first.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring that all work entering the development pipeline is clearly defined, well-understood, and appropriately estimated. This requires maintaining a continuously refined backlog that remains tightly aligned with overarching product priorities and the squad's capacity, fostering a predictable and efficient workflow.
  • • Translating complex business and customer problems into clear, actionable, and testable user stories is a critical function. This involves crafting precise acceptance criteria and providing supporting artifacts such as user flows, business rules, and detailed edge case scenarios to ensure clarity for the engineering team.
  • • A close partnership with the engineering team is paramount. You will collaborate extensively to assess technical feasibility, refine scope iteratively, and validate that delivered outcomes meet the defined requirements and quality standards through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • • Driving predictable, high-quality delivery is a key performance indicator. This will be achieved by actively leading agile ceremonies, proactively identifying and removing impediments, and effectively managing risks and dependencies that could impact timelines or quality.
  • • You will provide transparent and regular reporting on delivery progress, ensuring that all work undertaken is demonstrably aligned with the company's Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), broader business goals, and ultimately, the desired customer outcomes.
  • • Building and nurturing strong cross-functional relationships across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other business units is essential. You will be the key communicator, ensuring clear and concise updates on progress, articulating trade-offs, and explaining critical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • • You will contribute valuable insights, data analysis, and strategic recommendations to the Head of Product, directly influencing stream-level and overall product strategy. This requires a forward-thinking approach and a keen understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • • By deeply understanding the business context and customer needs, you will champion the product vision within your squad, ensuring that every team member is aligned and motivated towards achieving shared goals. Your leadership will foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, pushing the boundaries of digital gifting and payments.
  • • You will play a vital role in the discovery phase, employing a range of techniques such as user interviews, surveys, data analysis, and competitive research to uncover opportunities and validate product hypotheses before significant investment is made.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed before they impact delivery. This includes managing dependencies on other teams or external partners.
  • • You will be a key advocate for the customer within the organization, ensuring that customer feedback is systematically collected, analyzed, and incorporated into the product development process.
  • • Contributing to the development and refinement of product management best practices within Prezzee will be an ongoing aspect of the role, helping to elevate the entire product organization.
