• • As a Product Manager at Prezzee Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in transforming strategic objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities into tangible, high-impact product solutions. Your core responsibility will be to drive the product lifecycle from ideation through to successful delivery, ensuring that what we build not only meets customer expectations but also aligns with Prezzee's ambitious business goals and vision for the future of digital gifting and payments.
• • You will be the linchpin within your dedicated squad, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. This involves deeply understanding the 'why' behind every feature, leveraging data and customer insights to validate assumptions and define problems. Your ability to translate complex business requirements and customer pain points into clear, actionable product strategies and detailed user stories will be paramount.
• • A significant part of your role will involve leading the discovery phase, meticulously researching customer needs, validating hypotheses through rigorous testing, and accurately sizing potential opportunities. This data-driven approach will inform your contributions to the overall product roadmap and quarterly planning, ensuring that our efforts are focused on the highest-value initiatives.
• • You will own and meticulously manage the squad's backlog, a dynamic and ever-evolving list of epics, user stories, bug fixes, technical debt items, and discovery tasks. This ownership requires a sophisticated balancing act, weighing customer value against commercial impact, technical feasibility, development effort, and inherent risks to ensure optimal prioritization.
• • A key deliverable will be the creation of exceptionally clear, well-defined, and testable user stories, complete with precise acceptance criteria and supporting documentation such as user flows, business rules, and edge case considerations. This ensures that the engineering team has a crystal-clear understanding of what needs to be built and why.
• • You will forge a strong, collaborative partnership with the engineering team, actively participating in feasibility assessments, scope refinement discussions, and the validation of delivered outcomes through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your ability to communicate technical concepts and trade-offs effectively will be crucial for seamless collaboration.
• • Driving predictable and high-quality delivery is a core tenet of this role. You will actively lead agile ceremonies, proactively identify and remove impediments, and diligently manage risks and dependencies that could impact timelines or quality. Your focus will be on ensuring a smooth and efficient development process.
• • Providing transparent and consistent reporting on delivery progress against Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), business goals, and defined customer outcomes is essential. This ensures all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the squad's performance and impact.
• • Building and nurturing strong relationships across various cross-functional teams – including commercial, engineering, design, and delivery – is vital. You will be responsible for communicating progress, articulating trade-offs, and clearly explaining decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a shared understanding and buy-in.
• • You will contribute valuable insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations to the Head of Product, directly influencing stream-level and overall product strategy. This involves staying abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the digital gifting and payments space.
