- • Lead discovery initiatives to understand customer needs, validate assumptions, and size market opportunities using data and insights to define problems and shape hypotheses.
- • Contribute business cases, opportunity sizing, and prioritisation inputs to inform the product roadmap and quarterly planning cycles.
- • Own and prioritise the squad backlog including epics, user stories, bugs, technical debt, and discovery tasks, balancing customer value, commercial impact, feasibility, effort, and risk.
- • Ensure all work is clearly defined, estimated, and ready for development by maintaining a continuously refined backlog aligned with strategic priorities and team capacity.
- • Translate complex business and customer problems into clear, testable user stories with strong acceptance criteria and supporting artefacts such as workflows, business rules, and edge case documentation.
- • Partner closely with engineering teams to assess technical feasibility, refine scope, and validate delivered outcomes through user acceptance testing (UAT).
- • Drive predictable, high-quality delivery by leading agile ceremonies, proactively removing blockers, and managing cross-team risks and dependencies.
- • Provide transparent delivery reporting and ensure all work aligns with defined OKRs, business goals, and measurable customer outcomes.
- • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Tech Lead, UX, Delivery Lead, Head of Product, and external partner teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across commercial, engineering, and partner organisations.
- • Translate partner requirements into clear, actionable integration requirements for engineering teams, particularly around B2B integrations and SaaS partnerships.
- • Apply working knowledge of APIs and service-based integrations, including understanding requests/responses, endpoints, payloads, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and API security principles.
- • Demonstrate awareness of critical API considerations such as versioning, reliability, performance, and scalability in integration design and delivery.
- • Support the Head of Product with strategic insight, analysis, and recommendations that inform stream-level and product-level decision-making.
- • Operate with a strong sense of ownership, outcome-obsession, and delivery focus to ensure the squad builds the right things, builds them well, and delivers real value quickly.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis within an Agile environment.
- • Proven experience writing high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work using data, capacity, value, and business impact.
- • Strong experience partnering with engineering teams and confidence working with technical concepts.
- • Working knowledge of APIs and service-based integrations, including requests/responses, endpoints, payloads, OAuth, API keys, and API security principles.
- • Experience delivering or supporting B2B integrations or strategic partner initiatives in a SaaS environment.
