  • • Redgate Software is seeking a motivated Product Manager to join our growing product management team and contribute to our long-term vision and growth. In this pivotal role, you will own the outcomes for a specific product area, collaborating closely within a product trio comprising a Tech Lead and a Designer. Your primary responsibility will be to translate high-level product strategy into tangible, shipped work that demonstrably impacts key business metrics such as win rates, time-to-value, and customer retention, moving beyond simply delivering features. You will dedicate your time to deeply understanding customer problems, strategically shaping the future product roadmap, and ensuring that the delivered solutions resonate effectively with our customer base.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve executing the product strategy for your designated area, meticulously breaking it down into focused, impactful initiatives designed to drive measurable commercial outcomes. You will foster a strong partnership with your Tech Lead and Designer, working collaboratively as a product trio to develop and deliver a high-quality, sustainable product roadmap. A core aspect of your role will be taking ownership of customer outcomes and key performance metrics, continuously evaluating the impact of product changes on customers through metrics like perceived value, time-to-value, active usage, and Net Promoter Score (NPS), and responding with agility to insights gained. You will engage directly with agile engineering teams, leading the discovery process and shaping the direction of development, rather than merely writing tickets. Furthermore, you will partner closely with the Product Marketing team to define product positioning, pricing strategies, packaging, and go-to-market plans. Driving customer engagement will be paramount, achieved through rigorous research, customer calls, and direct interaction to ensure the product effectively addresses genuine customer pain points. You will also collaborate with other Product Managers across the organization to ensure that our products offer complementary value and create a cohesive portfolio experience. As an integral part of the broader product management team, you will contribute to portfolio-level decision-making and facilitate the smooth flow of information across the company. Staying abreast of relevant market requirements, competitive landscapes, and the evolving needs of our target customers will be a continuous aspect of your work.
  • • Redgate Software is a leader in creating simple yet powerful software solutions that empower data professionals to maximize the value derived from any database. Our innovative solutions tackle complex database management challenges throughout the entire DevOps lifecycle, significantly enhancing efficiency, minimizing errors, and safeguarding business-critical data for IT leaders, development teams, and operations professionals. The data community places its trust in Redgate to effectively balance the imperative for speed to market with the need for robust team collaboration and stringent data protection. Our company culture is built on supporting and empowering our people, fostering an environment where individuals can thrive both in their careers and in their overall journey with us. We are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, believing that diverse teams are inherently better at problem-solving and cultivating a creative culture. We strive to provide a workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to flourish.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the database professional's domain, spanning various industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, and SaaS. You will develop the ability to speak credibly about the challenges our customers face, even as you are continuously learning. You will hone your skills in translating strategic vision into actionable product plans and executing those plans to achieve measurable business results. This position offers a chance to refine your ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence product direction, and make a significant impact on the success of Redgate's product portfolio. You will also develop a keen understanding of B2B SaaS product management principles and the nuances of working within a lean-agile development framework, ultimately growing as a well-rounded and impactful product leader.
  • • The impact you will make is significant, directly influencing the success of Redgate's product offerings and contributing to the company's overall growth and market leadership. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving adoption, retention, and satisfaction. Your work will directly contribute to solving complex problems for data professionals, making their jobs easier and more efficient. By focusing on outcomes and customer value, you will help shape the future of database management tools and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within Redgate. The opportunity to work with a talented and collaborative team, coupled with Redgate's commitment to employee development and well-being, provides a fertile ground for professional growth and personal fulfillment. You will be empowered to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and make meaningful contributions that are recognized and valued within the organization. Your success will be measured not just by the features you ship, but by the positive impact you have on our customers and our business.
