📋 Description

• As a Product Manager at PermitFlow Inc., you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the construction industry through applied AI. You will lead a dedicated product team, focusing on the development and enhancement of customer-facing features and sophisticated AI-powered workflows designed to demystify and streamline the notoriously complex world of permitting and licensing. This role is pivotal in accelerating housing, clean-energy, and infrastructure development across the United States by providing builders with unprecedented speed, accuracy, and visibility into their projects.
• You will own the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and deep user research to strategic prioritization, meticulous design, agile development, successful launch, and continuous iteration. This end-to-end responsibility ensures that the products you champion not only meet but exceed customer expectations and deliver tangible business value.
• Collaboration is key. You will forge strong partnerships with our world-class engineering, design, operations, and sales teams. By working hand-in-hand with these cross-functional partners, you will ensure the seamless delivery of high-impact features that directly address user pain points and create measurable customer value, driving significant improvements in compliance time, project de-risking, and overall scalability for our clients.
• A core aspect of your role will involve direct engagement with our users. You will immerse yourself in their daily challenges, conduct in-depth interviews, and gather qualitative and quantitative feedback to deeply understand their pain points. This user-centric approach will be instrumental in translating complex real-world problems into intuitive, elegant, and effective software solutions.
• You will be responsible for defining and articulating the product strategy, setting clear and ambitious goals, and establishing key success metrics. This vision must be effectively communicated across all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of our product roadmap and objectives.
• Beyond individual product ownership, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the growth of our product management function. This includes mentoring and guiding other product managers, establishing best practices for product processes, fostering a collaborative environment, and setting high standards for execution and delivery within the product team.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products, ideally within startup or fast-paced technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience in leading product teams and driving product strategy, rather than solely managing individual features.
• Strong ability to set a clear product vision, prioritize effectively in a dynamic landscape, and foster alignment across diverse cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, operations).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and complex challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from engineers and executives to end-users.
• Technical acumen and familiarity with software development processes and methodologies are considered a strong plus.
