Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Manager at Brain Co., you will be at the forefront of transforming how the world's most important institutions operate by leveraging cutting-edge Applied AI. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a well-defined product area from its inception, guiding it through every stage of the product lifecycle. You will be instrumental in translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable product strategies and technical requirements, working hand-in-hand with world-class engineering and design teams to bring innovative solutions to life.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to own a specific product area end-to-end. This involves deep engagement in the discovery phase to understand user needs and market opportunities, meticulous scoping to define the product's vision and features, and close collaboration with design to create intuitive and effective user experiences. You will then partner with engineering to translate these requirements into robust technical specifications, ensuring a shared understanding and alignment throughout the development process.
  • • A critical aspect of this role is driving projects through to successful launch and beyond. You will manage execution timelines, proactively identify and mitigate dependencies, and ensure that milestones are met to deliver high-quality products on schedule. In a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, establishing clarity and alignment across diverse teams – including engineering, design, operations, and potentially external stakeholders – will be paramount to your success.
  • • Beyond execution, you will be responsible for measuring the impact of your products. This involves defining key performance indicators (KPIs), gathering user feedback through various channels, and using data-driven insights to inform future iterations and enhancements. Your ability to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and champion continuous iteration will be key to ensuring our products consistently deliver value and exceed expectations.
  • • As Brain Co. scales, you will play a vital role in shaping our product development culture and best practices. This includes contributing to the refinement of our processes, advocating for user-centric design, and fostering a collaborative environment where innovation can thrive. Your insights and experiences will directly influence how we build and deliver products in the future.
  • • This role is designed for individuals who are energized by ambiguity and excel at bringing structure to complex problems. You should be comfortable navigating the dynamic landscape of an early-stage startup, where taking initiative and demonstrating ownership are highly valued. The ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, from engineers to executive leadership, is essential.
  • • Success in this position will not only involve delivering impactful products but also paving the way for increased product ownership and leadership responsibilities within Brain Co. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and is motivated by the tangible impact of seeing their work deployed in the real world, solving significant problems for major institutions.
  • • You will be empowered to make decisions, influence product strategy, and contribute to the company's overall direction. The ideal candidate possesses a strong bias for action, a deep curiosity about AI and its applications, and a passion for building products that drive measurable outcomes. If you thrive in environments where you can take ownership from day one, contribute to a rapidly growing company, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in AI, this is the role for you.
  • • The opportunity to work on products that are already demonstrating significant real-world impact – such as automating construction permitting, optimizing global supply chains, and streamlining hospital patient care – provides a unique platform for growth and learning. You will be part of a team that is not just researching AI, but actively deploying it to solve critical global challenges, unlocking substantial value and improving operational efficiencies for leading organizations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in product management, ideally within tech-forward companies in domains such as insurance, finance, or legal.
  • • Demonstrated experience in early-stage or startup environments, with a strong ability to thrive in high-ownership, low-structure settings and bring structure to ambiguity.
  • • Track record of successfully taking projects from concept or statement of work through to launch and iteration.
  • • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams concurrently.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a high-growth company.
  • • Daily catered lunches.
  • • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • • 401(k) plan.
  • • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO).
