📋 Description

• • As a Product Manager on the AI Companion team at OnePay Technologies Inc., you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing personal finance by leading the development of an innovative AI-driven financial companion. This role is pivotal in shaping a product that moves beyond reactive user prompts to proactively guide individuals through personalized financial journeys. You will own the entire lifecycle of consumer-facing Large Language Model (LLM) features, from conceptualization and definition of user journeys and engagement mechanics to driving prompt engineering, evaluation, and policy development. Your ultimate goal will be to advance the companion towards agentic capabilities, enabling it to perform actions on behalf of our customers, thereby simplifying their financial lives.
• • You will be instrumental in contributing to key product areas within the AI Companion space, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality LLM features that are designed to scale seamlessly to tens and hundreds of millions of users. This involves a deep understanding of user needs and the technical capabilities of LLMs to create impactful financial tools.
• • A core responsibility will be partnering closely with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, risk management, legal, and compliance. This collaboration is essential for identifying critical user pain points, meticulously defining product requirements, and shipping personalized journeys and proactive financial experiences. A key challenge will be balancing the imperative for model quality and safety—through rigorous evaluation, policy setting, and guardrail implementation—with the practical needs of the platform, such as data integrations, notification systems, robust analytics, and adherence to regulatory compliance.
• • You will be responsible for maintaining and prioritizing your specific segment of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall launch strategy. The initial focus will be on the credit score vertical, with the objective of developing a scalable playbook that can be expanded across various other financial verticals. This requires strategic thinking and the ability to adapt successful approaches to new domains.
• • Decision-making will be heavily data-driven. You will leverage key metrics such as user activation, engagement levels, retention rates, journey completion success, and critical quality/safety signals to inform prioritization, identify areas for improvement, and drive measurable positive outcomes for users and the business.
• • A significant part of your role will involve translating complex technical concepts and stringent regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications, user flows, comprehensive evaluation plans, detailed development tickets, and concise stakeholder updates. This requires exceptional communication and documentation skills.
