• • As a Product Manager on the Intake and Collaboration team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and enhancing how work enters the Zip platform and how users interact and collaborate around these processes. This includes spearheading the development of AI-powered intake systems, enabling self-service configuration, and shaping the collaborative features such as chat, notifications, and integrations with essential communication tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams. Your primary objective will be to craft an intuitive and seamless experience layer that caters to all users, from first-time requesters to infrequent participants and external collaborators.
• • You will be instrumental in driving the development across the entire spectrum of Intake and Collaboration functionalities. This involves building intelligent intake systems that streamline the process of initiating requests and defining the fundamental collaboration primitives. These primitives will encompass features like commenting, real-time notifications, and seamless messaging integrations, ensuring a cohesive experience across web, mobile, and external platforms. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and usability of the Zip platform for a diverse user base.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve deep collaboration with engineering and design teams. You will be responsible for defining product requirements, providing clear product direction, making critical trade-off decisions, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade participation experiences that meet the rigorous demands of large organizations. This cross-functional partnership is essential for translating vision into tangible product features.
• • You will conduct rigorous and structured product discovery processes. This will include conducting in-depth stakeholder interviews to understand diverse needs and perspectives, performing comprehensive competitive research to identify market trends and opportunities, analyzing usage data to uncover patterns and insights, and executing usability testing to pinpoint friction points in the first-time and infrequent user journeys. This data-driven approach will inform product strategy and roadmap.
• • A critical part of your responsibility will be to meticulously test, validate, and measure the success of your initiatives. You will define and track well-defined metrics such as intake quality, user activation rates, engagement across various surfaces (web, mobile, integrations), and the reduction of support tickets or rework. This focus on measurable outcomes ensures that product development aligns with business objectives and delivers tangible value.
