- • Lead product initiatives across court docketing, analytics, workflow, and platform capabilities for UniCourt’s legal data platform
- • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for court data features
- • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities, timelines, and execution plans for court data and alert systems
- • Drive product initiatives from early concept through launch and iterative improvement, ensuring alignment with legal technology workflows
- • Work closely with Engineering teams to define technical requirements, prioritize backlog items, and deliver high-quality product releases in agile environments
- • Partner with Design and Engineering to improve usability, scalability, and performance of the enterprise court data API platform
- • Coordinate communication and alignment between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership teams to ensure cross-functional execution
- • Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities when making product decisions for legal data delivery systems
- • Conduct customer interviews, usage analysis, and competitive research to identify product opportunities and refine product direction
- • Define, monitor, and analyze key product metrics and usage insights to guide optimization of court data accessibility and automation
- • Help identify areas for workflow improvement and enhanced customer experience within legal research and litigation workflows
- • Stay informed on legal technology trends, court data standards, and evolving needs of Am Law 200 firms and Fortune 500 legal teams
- • Support development of billing, subscription, and usage-tracking functionality for enterprise clients
- • Contribute to design decisions around RBAC (role-based access control), permissions, and enterprise administration features
- • Collaborate on API-related initiatives, structured data workflows, and enterprise platform enhancements to ensure data integrity and reliability
- • Serve as a critical partner to the Senior Product Manager of Court Data in maintaining the foundational court data platform
- • Ensure data quality standards are upheld across state and federal court data ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines
- • Coordinate portal and integration efforts to expand platform capabilities for legal analytics and automation
- • Support new court jurisdiction onboarding initiatives by working with Legal and Operations teams to validate data accuracy and completeness
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably within B2B SaaS environments
- • JD or other legal background strongly preferred
- • Experience leading product initiatives from concept through launch
- • Strong experience working directly with Engineering teams in agile development environments
- • Ability to write clear product requirements and manage prioritization across competing initiatives
- • Experience in legal technology, litigation technology, court data, or legal workflows
