This role is pivotal in shaping the future of education by supporting the strategic development and ongoing maintenance of our critical products for engineers and architects, building on PPI's legacy of preparing over 4 million professionals for licensure exams since 1975.
  • • As the Product Manager, you will be instrumental in managing the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and requirement gathering through prototyping, successful launch, and eventual retirement. You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, content specialists, editorial staff, production teams, and marketing professionals, ensuring that every product iteration is aligned with our strategic goals and delivers exceptional value to our users.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves expertly managing, communicating, and meticulously documenting the needs and feedback from various internal stakeholders. This includes sales, marketing, student support, and other relevant functional groups. Your ability to translate their requirements into actionable product plans will be crucial for the strategic success of our products and initiatives.
  • • You will oversee and manage the product setup process, working in tandem with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless product launches and updates. This proactive approach ensures that all teams are fully prepared and equipped to support new offerings and changes, minimizing disruption and maximizing impact.
  • • Quality assurance is a critical component of your responsibilities. You will perform thorough quality checks and testing in preparation for product launches, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and user experience before they reach our customers.
  • • You will be responsible for requesting, maintaining, and managing essential reports for the business unit, drawing data from shared services. These reports will provide critical insights into product performance, customer engagement, and market trends, informing strategic decisions at all levels of management.

  • • You will actively support the product team in executing key initiatives outlined on the product roadmap. This involves contributing to strategic planning, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of product enhancements and new offerings.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with product teams and stakeholders to develop innovative new products and refine existing ones, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in the evolving educational technology market.
  • • To empower our sales and marketing teams, you will create comprehensive supporting documentation that clearly articulates the key features and benefits of our products. This collateral will be essential for effective market communication and customer acquisition.
  • • You will provide essential training, ongoing support, and clear guidance to our student support team. Ensuring they are well-equipped to assist users with our products is paramount to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • • You will also assist marketing efforts, both internally and externally, to promote our products effectively. This may involve contributing to campaign strategies, developing messaging, and participating in promotional activities.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of educational products for professionals, working within a supportive, innovative, and growth-oriented environment. You will be a key connector, anticipating needs and facilitating collaboration across the organization to drive product success and contribute to Kaplan's enduring legacy of educational excellence.
