đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Manager for Content Tools at Pluralsight, you will own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core platform capabilities that empower both internal teams and external authors to create, manage, and distribute high-quality learning content at scale. Your work directly impacts how efficiently content is authored, localized, discovered, and delivered to millions of learners worldwide, making it a critical lever in Pluralsight’s mission to upskill the global tech workforce.
- • Day to day, you will: own the shared UI and backend infrastructure powering content tooling across courses, assessments, labs, and emerging formats; build and maintain author management systems for third-party contractors and internal staff, including dashboards, royalty tracking, and opportunity workflows; lead content import and ingestion pipelines to reduce manual effort and accelerate time-to-publish; manage content access and permissioning systems to ensure the right content reaches the right audiences; drive the strategy and execution of headless authoring via APIs and MCP-native capabilities for programmable content creation at scale; oversee translation and transcript management workflows to support global localization and accessibility; and govern tagging and metadata taxonomies that enhance content discoverability and alignment with skills frameworks.
- • You will partner closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data analysts, and content specialists within Pluralsight’s Product and Engineering organization, which is structured to support rapid innovation while maintaining platform stability and scalability. The team operates with a strong emphasis on collaboration, experimentation, and customer-centric problem-solving, leveraging Agile methodologies to iterate quickly and deliver measurable impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in platform product management, gain hands-on experience with headless CMS and API-first architectures, and develop strategic influence over how content lifecycle tools evolve to support emerging formats like AI-assisted authoring and immersive learning experiences. You’ll also sharpen your ability to balance technical depth with business acumen, translating complex systems into clear product visions that serve diverse user personas — from enterprise administrators to global freelance authors.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager with hands-on ownership of APIs, data pipelines, or platform-adjacent products in a SaaS environment
- • Proven experience building or scaling content management, publishing workflows, or digital asset tools involving both internal and external contributors
- • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications and prioritized roadmaps without relying solely on intermediary technical leads
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation with an annual US base salary range of $106,000 - $139,400 USD, plus bonus eligibility
- • Comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, and professional development funds
- • Mission-driven culture focused on inclusion, belonging, continuous learning, and impactful work that upskills the global tech workforce
