đź“‹ Description

  • • Join FourKites, a leader in AI-driven supply chain transformation, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of intelligent logistics. We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Product Manager – Data & AI Platforms to architect and deliver the intelligence layer that powers our cutting-edge AI platform.
  • • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in creating sophisticated data products that are directly consumed by our enterprise customers, programmatically by AI agents, and integrated into automated workflows. Your responsibilities will span both traditional Business Intelligence (BI) tools and advanced AI-native analytics, serving multiple consumption layers to drive unparalleled efficiency and insight.
  • • You will own the product strategy and roadmap for our data and AI platforms, ensuring they align with our overarching business objectives and deliver significant customer value. This includes defining the vision, prioritizing features, and collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and AI teams to bring innovative solutions to life.
  • • A significant portion of your role (50%) will involve strategic leadership. You will lead our BI tools portfolio, defining the next generation of AI-native data products. This involves understanding complex data ecosystems, identifying opportunities for AI integration, and developing a clear product vision that addresses both human and machine consumption needs.
  • • You will be responsible for the product's Profit and Loss (P&L) and will directly impact customer outcomes by ensuring our data products solve critical business challenges. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • • Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with AI Agent Product Managers to enhance the platform's intelligence capabilities. By fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, you will ensure seamless integration and maximum impact of our AI initiatives.
  • • Approximately 30% of your time will be dedicated to technical development. This hands-on aspect involves personally analyzing data using SQL and Python to validate hypotheses, build compelling prototypes, and demonstrate the value of proposed solutions. Your ability to dive deep into the data will be crucial for informing product strategy and guiding engineering efforts.
  • • You will define detailed data models and technical requirements for our engineering teams, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the desired outcomes and the data structures needed to achieve them.
  • • The remaining 20% of your role will focus on team leadership and coordination. You will manage a direct report responsible for BI execution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of BI-related projects.
  • • You will also coordinate efforts across multiple AI product teams, fostering a cohesive and collaborative environment. As emerging agentic projects mature, you will take on the responsibility of running and guiding them, ensuring their successful transition into production.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to be a 'full-stack AI product manager.' You will have the chance to query production databases, present findings to AI Agent PMs, define critical intelligence requirements, engage directly with customers to articulate business value, and ship prototypes that power agent workflows – often within the same week.
  • • Your impact will be measured by tangible results, including the launch of 2-3 AI-native data products with measurable adoption, the delivery of analytics integrated into AI agents and workflows, and a significant reduction in the time-to-intelligence from weeks to hours.
  • • You will also contribute to building reusable analytical building blocks for AI development and achieving revenue targets associated with our data product offerings.
  • • The role requires a forward-thinking approach, focusing on scalable product thinking rather than one-off analyses. You will establish a clear framework for identifying insights that are worthy of productization versus those that should remain internal.
  • • Ultimately, you will help FourKites continue its mission to transform supply chains through AI, enabling companies to prevent disruptions, automate tasks, and optimize performance across their global operations. This is a chance to work on complex, real-world challenges with a significant impact on major global brands.
