• • As a Product Manager for the Data Platform at Foxglove Technologies, Inc., you will be at the forefront of building the essential data infrastructure that powers robots operating in the real world. Robotics is rapidly transitioning from controlled research environments to widespread production deployments across diverse sectors including factories, warehouses, autonomous vehicles, and various field applications. When these complex systems encounter failures, exhibit unexpected behaviors, or require optimization, engineers critically depend on comprehensive data to understand the root causes and implement improvements.
• • Foxglove is dedicated to providing the observability, visualization, and data infrastructure solutions that make this deep understanding possible. Our suite of tools is specifically designed for robotics and autonomous systems teams, enabling them to efficiently ingest, store, query, replay, and analyze vast quantities of multimodal sensor data originating from live operational systems and extensive production fleets. This data is the fundamental lifeblood of Physical AI, yet traditional data management tools are often ill-equipped to fully harness the immense value embedded within petabytes of complex, multimodal time-series data generated by robotic systems.
• • In this pivotal role, you will spearhead Foxglove’s most significant investment area for 2026. Your primary responsibility will be to elevate the Data Platform from a supplementary feature to a robust, high-velocity standalone product line. This involves moving beyond basic data storage capabilities to architect and implement sophisticated workflows that encompass the entire lifecycle of data, from initial research and development through to ongoing operations and analysis.
• • You will own the overarching Data Strategy & Roadmap, meticulously defining the future evolution of the platform to address critical opportunities in data management, intelligent discovery, precise curation, and rigorous evaluation. This strategic vision will guide the platform's development, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of industry needs.
• • A key aspect of your role will be to Drive Technical Innovation. You will collaborate closely with our dedicated Search and Curation engineering teams to deliver groundbreaking data layers. These layers will be meticulously built to satisfy the intricate and demanding requirements of operating complex systems within the physical world, ensuring data is not just stored but is also highly accessible and actionable.
• • You will be instrumental in Fueling Product-Market Fit by transitioning the Data Platform from a supporting visualization tool into a core, indispensable value proposition for Foxglove. This will involve leading design partnerships with our most important lighthouse customers. Through these collaborations, you will build, test, and validate new capabilities, ensuring they meet real-world needs before their general availability.
• • Furthermore, you will focus on Commercializing Consumption by working hand-in-hand with our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. Together, you will refine and implement a product-led growth model that is intrinsically aligned with how customers generate and derive value from our platform, creating a seamless funnel that feeds into our Enterprise sales efforts.
• • A crucial element of your contribution will be to Connect the Loop, ensuring that the Data Platform integrates flawlessly with our Visualization and Fleet products. This integration will foster a powerful 'data flywheel' effect for our customers, where data continuously fuels insights, improvements, and further data generation, creating a virtuous cycle of innovation and operational excellence.
