• We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Product Manager or Director with a deep specialization in options trading to spearhead the development of our next-generation trading products.
• This pivotal role involves crafting sophisticated solutions that cater to both retail and institutional traders, ensuring our platform remains competitive, robust, and user-centric.
• You will be instrumental in shaping the future of crypto options trading, directly influencing platform volume, managing risk effectively, and solidifying OKX's competitive positioning in one of the fastest-growing asset classes.
• Drive the strategic roadmap and execution for OKX's options trading products, ensuring alignment with the company's overall growth objectives and market leadership ambitions.
• Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from initial market research and conceptualization through to detailed requirements definition, development oversight, successful launch, and post-launch performance analysis.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet user needs, and competitive opportunities within the crypto options space.
• Translate complex market insights and user feedback into clear, actionable product requirements and specifications for engineering and design teams.
• Design and implement institutional-grade trading infrastructure, focusing on optimizing critical aspects such as execution speed, order matching logic, and capital efficiency.
• Develop and refine algorithms and systems that can compete with the performance and reliability of tier-1 traditional finance exchanges.
• Architect and deploy sophisticated risk management frameworks and controls to safeguard platform stability and protect customer assets.
• Balance the need for prudent governance and risk mitigation with the imperative to maintain a trader-friendly environment and a competitive market edge.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless product development and successful market introduction.
• Foster strong cross-functional alignment, particularly with teams managing spot, perpetual, and structured products, to ensure cohesive execution of OKX's broader trading platform strategy.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for options products, including trading volume, open interest, user adoption, and revenue generation.
• Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive continuous product iteration and improvement, ensuring our offerings remain relevant and competitive in a dynamic market.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including institutional clients, market makers, and internal trading desks, to gather insights and validate product strategies.
• Champion the product vision internally, effectively communicating the value proposition and strategic importance of options trading to various teams and leadership.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments impacting the crypto options landscape, proactively adapting product strategies as needed.
• Contribute to building a culture of innovation and excellence within the product team, encouraging data-driven decision-making and a user-first approach.
• Ensure that all product development adheres to the highest standards of operational rigor and compliance, reflecting OKX's commitment to safety and reliability.
• Develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market opportunity, user impact, and strategic alignment.
• Lead user research initiatives to gain a deep understanding of trader behavior, pain points, and preferences.
• Create compelling product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and marketing collateral.
• Act as a subject matter expert on options trading within the organization, providing guidance and insights to other teams.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of OKX's trading products, identifying new market opportunities and potential product extensions.
• You will be a key player in driving the growth and success of OKX's options trading business, making a tangible impact on the company's trajectory and the broader crypto market.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong preference for experience in options trading.
• Deep understanding of options trading mechanics, strategies, risk management, and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to define product strategy, manage the full product lifecycle, and drive product growth.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• A strong interest in and passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
