📋 Description

• OKX is at a pivotal moment, experiencing rapid growth and expanding its market share in the dynamic options trading sector. We are seeking a highly experienced Product Manager, with a specific focus on options and trading, to spearhead the development of innovative products. This role is crucial for serving both our retail and institutional client bases, ensuring that our offerings meet the highest standards of operational rigor expected by institutional traders.
• Your strategic decisions and product roadmap will have a direct and significant impact on key performance indicators, including trading volume, open interest, platform risk management, and OKX's overall competitive positioning within the fastest-growing asset class in the cryptocurrency market.
• You will be instrumental in driving the adoption and growth of our options products. This involves not only conceptualizing new features but also ensuring their successful implementation and market penetration, leading to measurable improvements in platform volume, open interest, and the overall trading economics for our users.
• A core responsibility will be to design and implement institutional-grade trading infrastructure. This includes optimizing execution speed, enhancing capital efficiency, and refining order matching logic to ensure OKX's options platform is competitive with, and ideally surpasses, the capabilities of tier-1 traditional finance exchanges.
• You will be tasked with building sophisticated and robust risk control systems. These systems are essential for maintaining platform stability and safeguarding customer assets, while simultaneously ensuring that trading conditions remain attractive and competitive for our users. This requires a delicate balance between prudent governance and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
• You will own the entire product lifecycle for options trading products. This encompasses conducting thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, meticulously defining product requirements, overseeing the development and launch phases, analyzing post-launch performance, and iterating based on valuable trader feedback and evolving market dynamics.
• A key aspect of this role involves leading cross-functional alignment. You will collaborate closely with teams responsible for spot trading, perpetual futures, and structured products to ensure that the options trading strategy is seamlessly integrated with and supports OKX's broader trading platform vision and objectives.
• You will champion the user experience, ensuring that our options products are intuitive, powerful, and meet the diverse needs of both novice and experienced traders. This involves deep empathy for user feedback and translating that understanding into actionable product improvements.
• You will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and strategy for options trading to stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
• You will stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the crypto and derivatives space to inform product strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
• This role requires a proactive and data-driven approach to product management, utilizing analytics to understand user behavior, measure product success, and identify areas for optimization.
• You will work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clear communication and efficient development cycles.
• You will contribute to the overall growth and innovation of OKX's trading products, playing a vital role in shaping the future of digital asset derivatives.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in options trading or a closely related financial derivatives field.
• Strong interest in Crypto and Options Trading, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Proven experience in product development, design, and project management, with a track record of successfully launching and iterating on complex financial products.
• Excellent logical thinking, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate about building innovative financial products, with a user-centric mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to drive and lead projects independently, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
