đź“‹ Description

  • • Stedi is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by building the world's first programmable healthcare clearinghouse. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to take ownership of our critical Eligibility & Insurance Discovery product offering. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare transactions, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and essential healthcare workflows.
  • • As the Product Manager for Eligibility & Insurance Discovery, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the product strategy for a core component of Stedi's clearinghouse. This involves understanding the intricate details of healthcare revenue cycle management, translating complex payer and provider requirements into actionable product plans, and collaborating closely with our world-class engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
  • • You will own the product roadmap from conception to launch, ensuring that our Eligibility & Insurance Discovery product not only meets but exceeds the needs of our diverse customer base, which includes healthcare technology businesses and established industry players. This ownership extends to defining and driving strategy for critical functionalities such as real-time eligibility checks, benefit normalization, and robust payer connectivity.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves deep engagement with the healthcare revenue cycle. You will need to develop a profound understanding of workflows related to eligibility verification, understanding the nuances of how providers interact with payers to confirm patient coverage and benefits. This knowledge will be crucial in identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within our product.
  • • You will be the primary author of essential product and business documentation, including Product Requirements Documents (PR/FAQs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and detailed specifications for our engineering team (e.g., Linear tickets). This requires the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly and concisely.
  • • Collaboration is key to success at Stedi. You will work hand-in-hand with our talented design team to craft intuitive user experiences, developing mockups and wireframes that translate user needs into tangible product features. Equally important is your partnership with the engineering team, where you will prioritize the backlog, guide development efforts, and ensure the timely delivery of features that enhance speed, reliability, and data accuracy.
  • • A core responsibility will be to meticulously measure product performance. You will define, track, and analyze key metrics related to product adoption, user engagement, and overall business impact. This data-driven approach will inform future product investments and strategic decisions, ensuring we are continuously optimizing our offering.
  • • Beyond your core product, you will contribute to the broader Stedi product suite. Your expertise and insights will be invaluable in supporting and advancing other product initiatives, fostering a holistic approach to innovation across the company.
  • • Stedi is a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be part of a team that consistently ships products, with a strong emphasis on iteration and continuous improvement. Our blog and changelog are testaments to our commitment to transparency and rapid development.
  • • This role reports directly to the CEO, providing a unique opportunity to influence company-level strategy and work closely with senior leadership. You will also collaborate with the Head of Engineering, ensuring alignment between product vision and technical execution.
  • • The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses a relentless curiosity, and is driven by a desire to build high-quality, impactful products. You are not content with simply making something work; you want to understand the 'why' and ensure it's built to last and perform exceptionally.
  • • You will be a key player in Stedi's mission to modernize healthcare transactions, leveraging technology to eliminate inefficiencies and improve the healthcare experience for providers and patients alike. Your work will directly contribute to Stedi's position as a leader in the healthcare clearinghouse space, building on our reputation as a fast-growing SaaS vendor backed by top investors.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Substantial product management experience at a healthcare software company, with a proven track record of successfully delivering adopted B2B products, ideally delivered via API.
  • • 2+ years of direct experience working in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a strong preference for hands-on experience in eligibility verification workflows.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or equivalent professional experience writing code.
  • • Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into actionable product direction for technical teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing, venture-backed startup.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • • Remote work flexibility within the USA.
  • • Opportunity to work on a mission-critical product that is transforming healthcare.
