  • • As a Product Manager focused on district partnerships, you will be instrumental in shaping and owning the product experiences that empower MagicSchool to effectively serve school districts. Your primary objective will be to develop and enhance features that streamline the onboarding and ongoing support processes for schools and individual sites within these districts.
  • • You will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering features that directly address the unique needs of school districts, encompassing critical areas such as administrative management, system configuration, data governance, user adoption strategies, performance observation, and measurable impact assessment.
  • • These newly developed experiences are designed to instill confidence in district leaders, IT teams, and educators, enabling them to deploy and manage MagicSchool across a wide array of diverse and complex educational environments with ease and security.
  • • This role demands a potent combination of strong execution capabilities and profound customer empathy. You will be the bridge between the intricate needs of district partners and the development of clear, actionable product requirements that translate into tangible, shipped solutions.
  • • Your work will involve thoughtful synthesis of information from various sources and a keen ability to navigate and prioritize competing demands amidst inevitable tradeoffs, ensuring that resources are allocated to deliver the most significant impact.
  • • You will foster close collaboration with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and reliable capabilities. These solutions will be crucial for supporting district-wide adoption and facilitating seamless day-to-day operations.
  • • Furthermore, you will play a vital role in the continuous refinement of our product roadmap, leveraging insights gained from district usage patterns, direct feedback, and evolving market needs to drive ongoing innovation and improvement.
  • • A key responsibility will be to prioritize enterprise and district-facing features that are critical for enabling successful district-wide adoption. This prioritization will be informed by a deep understanding of customer needs, the nuances of sales motions specific to educational institutions, and the overarching long-term platform strategy.
  • • You will partner closely with the engineering team to meticulously design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that not only meet the stringent requirements of school districts but also adhere to their specific technical and operational constraints.
  • • Collaboration will extend to our Sales, Customer Experience (CX), and Partnerships teams. Your work will ensure strong expansion and sustained engagement with our enterprise features within school districts, fostering long-term partnerships and maximizing value.
  • • You will be tasked with defining and rigorously monitoring key success metrics. These metrics will focus on critical areas such as district adoption rates, active usage patterns, and demonstrable educational outcomes, providing essential data to guide future roadmap decisions and product iterations.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves navigating the complex web of tradeoffs that arise when balancing the needs of diverse district stakeholders. This includes understanding and accommodating the perspectives of IT departments, curriculum specialists, administrative leadership, and frontline educators to deliver cohesive and high-impact product experiences that serve everyone effectively.
  • • You will be responsible for evaluating ambiguous problems, dissecting them into manageable components, and delivering pragmatic, high-impact product outcomes that address the core challenges faced by our district partners.
  • • Your ability to prioritize effectively and execute with precision in a fast-paced, startup environment will be paramount to success, ensuring that we can adapt quickly to the evolving needs of the education sector.
  • • You will leverage both qualitative and quantitative insights – including direct customer feedback, detailed usage data, and operational signals – to rigorously inform product decisions and drive iterative improvements, ensuring our products remain relevant and impactful.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-user or enterprise-focused products.
  • • Strong ability to partner deeply with engineering to translate district needs into scalable product solutions.
  • • Track record of evaluating ambiguous problems and delivering pragmatic, high-impact product outcomes.
  • • Experience prioritizing and executing in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Proven ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product decisions.
  • • Nice to have: Experience building or managing enterprise SaaS products, particularly in environments with complex customer needs or long adoption cycles.
  • • Nice to have: Familiarity with K–12 school districts or public-sector organizations, including an understanding of district priorities, constraints, and decision-making structures.

  • • Employer-paid health insurance plans, with low-premium dental and vision options.
  • • Generous stock options offered to every employee, vested over 4 years.
  • • 401k match & monthly wellness stipend.
  • • Flexibility of working from home, fostering a culture built on trust, communication, and collaboration.
  • • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology with real social impact in education.
