You will be instrumental in developing a real-time, non-document identity verification engine that underpins compliant onboarding and ongoing monitoring for millions of users and businesses globally.

This involves the meticulous evaluation, seamless integration, and intelligent optimization of routing across a network of over 10 premium data providers. Your goal will be to maximize success rates for verifications, minimize operational costs, and ensure comprehensive global coverage, adapting to the dynamic landscape of data availability and regulatory requirements.
• • You will be tasked with building and evolving a sophisticated rules engine and decision logic framework. This system will be the brain behind our verification processes, determining the outcomes based on complex criteria. Furthermore, you will be responsible for delivering developer-friendly APIs, robust webhooks for real-time notifications, and comprehensive observability tooling. These components will empower any product team, whether internal or external, to seamlessly embed database verification capabilities into their own applications and workflows, fostering agility and innovation.

You will forge strong partnerships across various departments, including Engineering, Design, Compliance/Legal, Risk Management, Data Science, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams. This cross-functional synergy is essential for the successful delivery of product components that can function independently or as part of intricate, orchestrated verification flows, ensuring a cohesive and effective user experience.
• • You will champion the product vision, translating complex technical concepts and business requirements into clear, actionable plans for engineering teams. This includes defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring that the product roadmap aligns with Veriff's overarching strategic objectives and market demands.
• • Your role will involve continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, new data sources, and potential threats or opportunities within the identity verification space. This proactive approach will ensure Veriff remains at the cutting edge of fraud prevention and identity assurance.
• • You will be responsible for defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Database Verifications product, such as success rates, latency, cost per verification, and customer satisfaction.
