📋 Description

• As a Product Manager II for Cash Balances at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of economic freedom by enhancing the customer cash experience on our platform. This pivotal role involves owning the product development lifecycle for our Cash and USDC products within the main Coinbase application, focusing on both improving existing offerings and pioneering new ones.
• You will be instrumental in elevating the trust and quality of cash options available to our users, ensuring they feel secure and confident in managing their funds. Simultaneously, you will drive initiatives to make cash readily usable across a spectrum of activities, including trading, spending, and sending, thereby unlocking greater utility and convenience for our diverse customer base.
• A core responsibility will be launching zero-to-one new products within the Cash domain. This requires a deep understanding of user needs, market trends, and the unique opportunities presented by blockchain technology to create innovative solutions that address unmet needs and drive adoption.
• Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations, to develop and execute a robust product roadmap. This involves fostering strong relationships, facilitating clear communication, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders to bring product visions to life.
• You will be responsible for defining and analyzing key product metrics to guide development decisions and rigorously assess the effectiveness of our user experience. This data-driven approach will ensure that we are continuously optimizing our offerings and building a best-in-class user experience that delights our customers.
• A significant aspect of this role involves aligning diverse teams around a shared vision for the Cash Balances product suite and steering the execution of that vision across our entire brokerage platform. This requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
• Effective communication is paramount. You will clearly articulate plans, progress, benefits, and functionality not only internally to partners and executive leadership but also externally to our customers. This ensures transparency, builds trust, and fosters a shared understanding of our product strategy and its impact.

• The Cash & Deposits team is dedicated to improving the customer cash experience by offering trusted, easy-to-use cash balances that support traders when they choose to reduce risk. The role will focus on two critical areas: elevating the trust and quality of cash options, and making cash readily usable across activities such as trading, spending, and sending.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in regulated brokerage and FinTech.
• Deep expertise in Fintech Banking, DeFi Banking, and/or Cash management products.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and evidence of the ability to guide product strategy and create alignment with senior cross-functional partners.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to building a robust platform with reliability, scale, and risk mitigation at its core.
• Ability to bridge complex technical and regulatory requirements with simple, intuitive user-facing products.
