đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Manager II - Credit Building at Super.Com, you will be a pivotal "Co-pilot" within a Mission Aligned Team (MAT) dedicated to empowering everyday Americans to build and improve their credit scores. This role is central to our mission of helping individuals maximize their lives by providing them with the tools and experiences necessary to achieve greater financial well-being.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing, launching, and iterating on credit-building products and features. This includes a strong focus on driving key business metrics across the entire customer lifecycle, encompassing acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Your efforts will directly impact the Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) of our credit building offerings.
  • • This position requires a hands-on approach to execution, particularly in the realm of 0-1 product development. You will be expected to navigate ambiguity, lead cross-functional teams, and make critical, data-driven decisions to ensure product success.
  • • You will work closely with a MAT Lead (Senior PM) who holds accountability for the team's outcomes. This role also offers direct mentorship from a Sr. Group PM for Financial Products, providing a structured environment for learning and career growth.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves regular interaction and presentation to executive leadership, including the GM, CTO, and SVP of Product, requiring strong communication and influencing skills.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will partner extensively with design, engineering, data science, growth marketing, legal, and compliance teams to define product requirements, manage agile development cycles, conduct in-depth analysis, and deliver tangible results.
  • • The Credit Building team's overarching goal is to create a transparent, accessible, and genuinely effective credit-building journey for our members. This includes owning the end-to-end experience, from our secured credit card to rent and payment reporting, credit utilization monitoring, onboarding flows, and engagement strategies.
  • • You will be responsible for driving outcomes by delivering on OKRs, communicating progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, and ensuring your team's success through proactive problem-solving.
  • • Executing the product roadmap will be a core responsibility. This involves deep involvement in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, unblocking team members, and contributing to the strategic direction of the team's efforts.
  • • You will own the roadmap from an output and impact perspective, ensuring that delivered features translate into meaningful user and business value.
  • • A critical part of your role will be writing, launching, and rigorously studying Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and experiments. This includes A/B testing, smoke testing, and other validation methods to understand product performance and inform future iterations.
  • • Defining and tracking the most impactful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that signify success will be essential for measuring the effectiveness of your initiatives.
  • • Stakeholder management is crucial. You will influence and align with senior leaders, adjacent MAT leads, and product colleagues, ensuring consistent communication and a unified approach to product development.
  • • You will be expected to perform deep-dive analysis using tools like Amplitude, conduct user interviews, leverage UXR research, and analyze Hotjar data to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, product performance, and business impact.
  • • Presenting these data-driven insights to key leaders on a regular basis will be a key responsibility, informing strategic decisions.
  • • Taking full accountability for the end-to-end customer experience within your domain is paramount. You must ensure that customer needs are met with high-quality products, knowing when to compromise and when to advocate strongly for the user.
  • • Building genuine customer empathy is a core expectation. This involves actively researching, listening to, and understanding our customers, their unique financial situations, and their "jobs to be done." You will also be expected to actively use and engage with the product to ensure its quality and to build empathy for daily users.
  • • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about making a tangible difference in the financial lives of everyday Americans.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of B2C FinTech product management experience, with a proven track record in finding Product-Market-Channel-Fit (PMMC fit) and developing growth and retention-focused products.
  • • Background in financial products, specifically within consumer fintech or similar industries.
  • • Minimum of 3 years collaborating effectively with design, engineering, and data teams.
  • • At least 1 year of experience working with growth initiatives, including areas like advertising, landing page optimization, and user activation.
  • • Demonstrated success in shipping 0-to-1 products and scaling existing products (1-to-10).
  • • Strong project management skills and excellent communication abilities, encompassing written, oral, and presentational skills, suitable for immediate teams, engineers, designers, and executives.
  • • Proven leadership capabilities in guiding teams and stakeholders, with the ability to effectively drive large meetings and execute with authority.
  • • Data-driven analytical thinking, with the ability to back up statements with facts and examples.
  • • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with a strong bias for action, demonstrating humility, flexibility, and the capacity to dive deep into execution while also maintaining a strategic, forward-looking perspective.
