  • • Own the analytics and business intelligence product vision and roadmap for ecommerce measurement, reporting, and insights at DICK’S Sporting Goods.
  • • Define clear product outcomes and KPIs tied to ecommerce funnel performance including conversion rate, average order value (AOV), retention, and attribution.
  • • Prioritize analytics initiatives based on business impact, effort, and stakeholder needs across Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Growth, and Technology teams.
  • • Serve as the single point of accountability for all ecommerce analytics capabilities and ensure data-driven decision-making across the customer journey.
  • • Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing evolution of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), including managing Connections, Data Views, Metrics, Dimensions, Segments, and Calculated Metrics.
  • • Enable cross-channel, person-based journey analysis spanning web, mobile app, point-of-sale (POS), CRM, and marketing data sources.
  • • Partner with data engineering teams on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ingestion, identity stitching, and schema design to support unified customer data.
  • • Support or lead migration projects from Adobe Analytics to Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, including validation and reconciliation of data outputs.
  • • Translate business questions into actionable analytics requirements, dashboards, and decision frameworks that drive optimization in conversion, engagement, and revenue.
  • • Ensure dashboards and reports are designed to drive action, not just visibility, and maintain data integrity and governance across self-service analytics tools.
  • • Standardize definitions for ecommerce metrics and KPIs across departments to ensure consistent reporting and alignment.
  • • Integrate analytics instrumentation early in the product development lifecycle and validate data quality and completeness before and after product launches.
  • • Collaborate closely with Ecommerce Product Managers to shape requirements and define success metrics for digital products.
  • • Partner with Engineering teams on analytics implementation, testing, and release validation to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
  • • Work with Marketing, Ecomm, and UX teams to deliver insights that inform optimization decisions and improve customer experience.
  • • Educate stakeholders on CJA capabilities, analytics best practices, and how to interpret and act on data outputs.
  • • Write clear, testable analytics requirements and product requirement documents (PRDs) to guide development and implementation.
  • • Operate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments with strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
  • • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, executable analytics solutions using deep understanding of ecommerce funnels and customer journeys.
  • • Maintain familiarity with data concepts including identity stitching, event instrumentation, schemas, and SQL-based datasets.
  • • Demonstrate working knowledge of experimentation, attribution modeling, and advanced analytics techniques to support strategic decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree
  • • 5+ years of experience in product management, analytics product ownership, or digital analytics
  • • Proven hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • • Deep understanding of ecommerce metrics, funnels, and customer journeys
  • • Experience working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) strongly preferred
  • • Comfortable working with SQL-based datasets and collaborating with data engineering teams
