đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Manager II for Identity & Access Management at Mollie B.V., you will own and evolve the foundational IAM platform that governs how users, roles, and permissions function across all Mollie products, directly enabling secure and scalable access for over 250,000 businesses ranging from startups to enterprise clients.
  • • You will lead a cross-functional, entrepreneurial team focused on delivering intuitive, secure, and scalable multi-user experiences — from defining product vision and roadmap to prototyping and validating solutions with real customer insights, ensuring alignment between usability, security, and compliance.
  • • Mollie is a mission-driven fintech company founded in 2004 with a product-first culture, where everything built starts with customer needs; you’ll join a team committed to replacing financial friction with intuitive, powerful, and beautifully simple products that empower businesses across Europe.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in identity systems, authentication protocols (like OAuth and SSO), authorization models, and entitlement frameworks while shaping how security and usability coexist in complex B2B SaaS environments — positioning you as a key contributor to Mollie’s expansion into mid- and up-market segments.
  • • You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, compliance, risk, and data privacy teams to ensure regulatory alignment and security best practices, while partnering with other product teams to establish a consistent, secure identity model across Mollie’s entire ecosystem.
  • • You will drive the development of modern IAM foundations that support both current and future Mollie products, enabling admins to manage teams, access, and permissions effortlessly — turning complex access control into a seamless, delightful experience for users of all technical levels.
  • • Through customer interviews, data analysis, and rapid experimentation, you will translate complex security and administrative requirements into simple, intuitive user flows that reduce onboarding friction and increase trust in Mollie’s platform.
  • • You will operate in an environment that values output over process, where you’re empowered to steer product direction based on insights, make decisive trade-offs, and ship high-impact features that directly influence how businesses manage financial operations securely.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to grow as a product leader in a high-growth fintech scale-up, where your work will have tangible impact on the security posture and user experience of a trusted payment partner serving hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a Product Manager working on products involving multiple users, roles, and permissions, particularly in B2B or SaaS contexts.
  • • Strong product sense with the ability to translate complex technical and security requirements into simple, intuitive, and user-centered experiences.
  • • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, risk, and support to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
  • • Ability to prototype user experiences effectively to explore, communicate, and validate product ideas with stakeholders and customers.
  • • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control concepts; experience with OAuth, SSO, RBAC, or similar frameworks is a strong plus.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort driving clarity and alignment across technical, legal, and business teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work on foundational security and identity systems that impact over 250,000 businesses using Mollie’s payment platform across Europe.
  • • Hybrid work environment based in Milan, offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration and connection to Mollie’s broader European operations.
  • • Access to Mollie’s product-first culture, where innovation, customer obsession, and design excellence are prioritized over bureaucracy and rigid processes.
  • • Professional growth in a fast-scaling fintech with exposure to complex identity and access challenges in regulated financial services.
  • • Collaboration with world-class engineering, design, and compliance teams to build secure, scalable, and delightful user experiences.
  • • Visa and relocation support is not offered for this role, as explicitly stated in the posting.
