• • As a Product Manager II focused on Liquidity Management at Coinbase Institutional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the global cryptoeconomy by ensuring the robust and efficient functioning of our international derivatives markets.
• • You will be instrumental in building and managing cutting-edge platforms that empower thousands of the world's largest financial institutions to trade, custody, and actively participate in the rapidly evolving digital asset landscape.
• • This role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, where you will be expected to dive deep into the operational aspects of liquidity management, even if it means performing tasks manually before developing automated solutions.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to manage liquidity programs for futures, perpetuals, and options, ensuring deep and stable markets for our institutional clients.
• • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Trading, to develop and enhance external and internal Market Making reporting, providing critical insights into market performance and participant activity.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve computing slippage and mark-outs for the exchange, ensuring fair and transparent trading conditions.
• • You will continuously monitor liquidity, depth, and order flow on the exchange, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues to maintain marketplace health and integrity.
• • You will work hand-in-hand with the Sales team to cultivate and manage strong relationships with our Market Makers, ensuring their needs are met and their participation contributes positively to the ecosystem.
• • This position requires a deep understanding of derivatives markets and trading, with a specific emphasis on the unique dynamics of the cryptocurrency space.
• • You will leverage your analytical prowess to partner with Data Science teams, building sophisticated measurement frameworks and A/B testing methodologies from the ground up to optimize liquidity strategies.
• • The role involves leading complex, multi-quarter, cross-functional projects, requiring exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• • You will contribute to the strategic direction of Coinbase Institutional's Markets organization, which oversees the operation and management of all Coinbase exchanges, including Spot, Derivatives, and International Derivatives.
