📋 Description

• • As a Product Manager II for Platform Staking at Coinbase, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of economic freedom by driving the development and strategy of our core staking platform services. This role is pivotal, as Staking is a significant revenue generator for Coinbase, contributing over $700 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 2024. You will be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving crypto landscape, building the infrastructure that enables millions of users to not only buy and sell cryptocurrencies but also to earn on them, thereby contributing to the security and decentralization of blockchain networks.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute the long-term product strategy for key areas within the Staking Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, Staking Protocol Integrations and infrastructure, and the expansion of staking services into new international markets. You will be the visionary behind how we abstract complex blockchain functionalities into simple, intuitive platform APIs that empower all Coinbase product teams.
• • You will be responsible for developing and managing products and services tailored for both internal and external developer audiences. This involves understanding their needs, translating them into product requirements, and delivering robust solutions that accelerate innovation across the company and the broader crypto ecosystem.
• • A critical aspect of your role will be owning the end-to-end product lifecycle for the addition of new digital assets, including managing network launches and ensuring seamless staking support across both our retail (Consumer) and institutional (Insto) product offerings. This requires a deep understanding of blockchain protocols and a meticulous approach to execution.
• • You will also take ownership of the product management for public-facing developer tools and communities managed by the Staking Platform team. This involves fostering engagement, gathering feedback, and ensuring these resources are valuable assets for developers building on or integrating with Coinbase's platform.
• • Staying ahead of the curve in the crypto space is paramount. You will be expected to continuously research emerging technologies, understand new blockchain protocols, and identify potential opportunities for innovation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key community members and stakeholders will be crucial for staying informed and driving adoption.
• • You will work collaboratively with various product teams and partners across Coinbase to drive the adoption of staking and other crypto-first product features. This requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to articulate the value proposition of our platform services.
