📋 Description

• As a Product Manager II on Kraken’s US Derivatives team, you will own the roadmap, strategy, and execution for prediction markets and event-based contracts—critical products that expand access to innovative financial instruments for retail and institutional traders in the U.S. market. Your work will directly contribute to Kraken’s mission of accelerating global crypto adoption by building secure, compliant, and user-centric derivatives offerings that bridge traditional finance and blockchain innovation.
• You will lead cross-functional working groups spanning engineering, design, operations, compliance, and other product teams to drive end-to-end product development—from ideation and market research through functional design, UAT, and launch—ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business goals.
• You will conduct deep market research to analyze trends in US CFTC-regulated derivatives, competitor offerings, and emerging crypto-native products, using data and experimentation to inform strategic decisions and optimize product performance.
• You will partner closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and evangelize a data-driven culture by promoting analytics, A/B testing, and user insights across the product lifecycle.
• You will help shape the long-term strategy for Kraken’s US derivatives portfolio, including defining success metrics, prioritizing features based on impact and feasibility, and contributing to business planning that supports sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
• You will ensure technical execution meets functional and non-functional requirements by validating engineering work through rigorous UAT and collaborating with QA and ops teams to maintain high standards of reliability, security, and usability.

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of US CFTC-based derivative products, including event-based contracts, with a strong understanding of market design and structure.
• Proven experience building US derivative trading products for institutional and/or retail clients, preferably in crypto, forex, or brokerage industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex, high-impact products from concept to launch.
• Familiarity with the flow of funds across parties involved in US derivatives and crypto-native spot products.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, actionable plans.
