Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • As a Product Manager MBA Intern at Equip Health Inc., you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to deliver evidence-based eating disorder treatment to patients nationwide by owning and driving high-impact product features that directly improve patient care experiences and clinical operations.
  • • This 10-12 week, full-time, paid virtual internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Equip’s product roadmap while working in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment that values curiosity, autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • • You will run core product rituals including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder updates, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, data, and operations teams to keep initiatives on track and transparent.
  • • You will translate user insights, operational data, and business needs into clear, actionable requirements and prioritized user stories, bridging the gap between clinical objectives and technical execution.
  • • You will partner closely with engineering, design, data, and operations stakeholders to move work from concept to launch, facilitating communication and removing blockers to accelerate delivery.
  • • You will identify friction points in existing workflows—such as patient onboarding, care team coordination, or insurance verification—and propose data-informed improvements that enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • • You will communicate progress, blockers, and decisions clearly and consistently to stakeholders at all levels, adapting your message for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of scoped initiatives from idea to execution while seeking guidance when needed and demonstrating initiative in ambiguous situations.
  • • You will perform other duties as assigned, supporting broader team goals and gaining exposure to various facets of product management in a healthcare technology setting.
  • • You will join a highly engaged, passionate, and diverse team of ‘Equisters’ who have built a sustainable, virtual-first treatment model recognized by Time as one of the most influential companies of 2023 and honored by LinkedIn and Lattice for workplace excellence.
  • • You will contribute to a company that operates in all 50 states, partners with major health insurers, and is dedicated to equitable access to care regardless of race, gender, sexuality, ability, weight, or socioeconomic status.
  • • You will gain hands-on experience in developing product roadmaps, defining user stories, and measuring outcomes—skills critical for a future career in product management, especially within mission-driven, healthcare-focused organizations.
  • • You will deepen your understanding of how data, design, engineering, and operations intersect to create impactful patient-centered products in a regulated, high-stakes industry.
  • • You will strengthen your ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments while building confidence in leading without authority and driving results through influence and clarity.

🎯 Requirements

  • • MBA or graduate student currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program
  • • 2+ years of full-time professional experience in product, consulting, engineering, data/analytics, operations, or related fields
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to leverage data analysis to measure outcomes and inform strategic decision making
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, actionable user stories and communicate priorities to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • • Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
  • • Demonstrated ownership of projects or initiatives from idea to execution

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Paid internship with competitive compensation for a 10-12 week, full-time summer 2026 program
  • • 100% virtual work environment with no travel required, enabling participation from anywhere in the USA
  • • Opportunity to work on high-impact product initiatives that directly improve patient care and clinical operations in a mission-driven healthcare company
  • • Mentorship and collaboration with experienced product, engineering, design, and operations professionals in a supportive, inclusive culture
  • • Exposure to real-world product lifecycle management in a fast-growing, virtual-first healthcare technology company recognized for innovation and workplace excellence
