Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Manager for Mobile at Pluralsight, you will own the end-to-end experience of the company’s iOS and Android applications, serving as the primary advocate for mobile learners and ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for on-the-go, interrupted, and offline learning patterns — directly impacting how technology professionals upskill in real-world contexts.
- • You will drive the strategy for a shared cross-platform foundation (e.g., React Native or Flutter) to enable consistent, high-quality native experiences across iOS, Android, and macOS while reducing engineering duplication, and you will champion mobile-first innovations such as offline access, push-driven re-engagement, widget integrations, and device-native interactions that differentiate Pluralsight’s mobile offering from competitors.
- • You will partner closely with PMs across Courses, Assessments, Labs, and Lifecycle teams to ensure their features are thoughtfully adapted — not merely ported — for mobile form factors, interaction models, and use contexts, acting as a cross-PM mobile advocate to maintain coherence and quality across the entire mobile ecosystem.
- • You will own platform health and quality metrics including crash rates, load performance, app store ratings, and accessibility standards, ensuring mobile is never treated as a second-class surface and that the app maintains excellence in performance, usability, and inclusivity across all supported devices and operating systems.
- • You will operate as a persona and platform owner, coordinating with engineering, design, QA, and release management teams to define and uphold mobile quality benchmarks, manage app store optimization and release processes, and translate user feedback into actionable roadmap improvements that drive engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- • You will work within a mission-driven, inclusive culture at Pluralsight that values continuous learning, experimentation, and feedback — where you are encouraged to bring your authentic self, learn from mistakes, and grow your impact by shaping how technology professionals access critical skills in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, software development, and more through seamless mobile experiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience owning native mobile products (iOS and/or Android) at a SaaS or consumer technology company, with measurable impact on engagement, retention, or app store performance.
- • Deep familiarity with mobile platform conventions, app store ecosystems (Apple App Store and Google Play), and the distinct interaction and usage patterns of mobile versus desktop users.
- • Experience working within a cross-platform mobile framework (React Native, Flutter, or equivalent) and understanding the tradeoffs between shared foundations and platform-native capabilities.
- • Proven ability to operate as a platform or persona owner — coordinating across multiple feature PMs to ensure a coherent, high-quality mobile experience without direct ownership of every underlying feature.
- • Familiarity with mobile-specific engagement mechanics including push notifications, offline sync, and device-native integrations (e.g., widgets, Siri shortcuts, background services).
- • Experience partnering with design and engineering to define and uphold mobile quality standards, including performance benchmarks (launch time, frame rate), accessibility (WCAG, VoiceOver, TalkBack), and app store optimization.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation with an annual US base salary range of $106,000 - $139,400 USD, plus bonus eligibility based on performance and company results.
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with wellness reimbursement programs to support physical and mental health.
- • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and professional development funds to encourage continuous learning and skill growth — aligned with Pluralsight’s mission of upskilling the tech workforce.
- • Flexible remote work arrangement with expected on-site collaboration Tuesday through Thursday for those within 45 miles of the Westlake/Dallas, TX office, enabling both connection and autonomy.
- • A mission-driven culture focused on inclusion, belonging, and continuous improvement, where employees are empowered to experiment, voice concerns, and take on new challenges with purpose.
- • Access to Pluralsight’s own learning platform for personal and professional development, including hands-on labs, skill assessments, and expert-led courses in emerging technologies.
