Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Product Manager – Networking at Lambda Inc., you will define and scale the networking backbone of Lambda’s AI Cloud, directly enabling secure, high-performance connectivity for AI researchers, enterprises, and hyperscalers who rely on Lambda’s infrastructure to power superintelligence workloads. Your work will ensure that customers can seamlessly access GPU resources across managed public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments, forming the critical connective tissue that allows distributed training across thousands of GPUs to function reliably and efficiently.
- • You will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core networking services including Direct Connect, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and Load Balancing, while advancing cutting-edge technologies like InfiniBand (HDR/NDR), RoCE/RDMA, and low-latency Ethernet to optimize AI and HPC workloads. This role demands deep technical fluency to collaborate with engineers on architecture and performance tradeoffs, while translating complex networking capabilities into clear customer value and enterprise-grade reliability.
- • You will own the full lifecycle of networking offerings—from pre-sales engagement with Super Intelligence customers to post-sales delivery—partnering cross-functionally with engineering, finance, marketing, and solutions teams to launch services that rival hyperscalers in performance, security, and scalability. Your efforts will directly support Lambda’s mission to make compute as ubiquitous as electricity by ensuring the networking layer can scale with the most demanding AI training and inference workloads.
- • Lambda’s networking infrastructure must meet enterprise-grade standards for security, reliability, and compliance, including encryption in transit, DDoS mitigation, observability, and adherence to regulatory frameworks. You will lead initiatives to harden the network against threats, ensure global traffic management efficiency, and implement features like NAT, peering, and subnet routing that enable secure hybrid and private cloud deployments.
- • You will benchmark Lambda’s networking offerings against industry leaders, gather customer feedback, and use data-driven insights to continuously refine the roadmap, ensuring Lambda remains differentiated in performance, cost, and usability for AI-centric workloads. This includes driving adoption of emerging technologies like SmartNICs and DPUs where they provide measurable offload and latency benefits.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-optimized networking, HPC platform services, and enterprise cloud infrastructure—skills that are increasingly critical as AI workloads push the boundaries of traditional cloud design. You will have the opportunity to shape the foundational layer of one of the fastest-growing AI cloud providers, working alongside leading researchers, engineers, and investors who are advancing the frontiers of superintelligence.
- • You will grow as a strategic product leader by owning complex, high-impact initiatives that require balancing technical depth with business acumen, influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority, and delivering measurable outcomes in adoption, reliability, and customer satisfaction—preparing you for senior product leadership roles in infrastructure, AI, or cloud computing.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product management experience, with proven success in launching and scaling enterprise-facing platform services in cloud infrastructure or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
- • Deep understanding of HPC/AI networking technologies, including InfiniBand (HDR/NDR), RDMA/RoCE, and high-performance Ethernet, with ability to engage technically with engineers and architects.
- • Strong technical fluency and storytelling ability to translate complex networking capabilities into clear customer value and business outcomes.
- • Track record of delivering secure, reliable, and scalable networking or platform services with measurable adoption, performance, and compliance results.
- • Experience collaborating across engineering, finance, marketing, and solutions teams to launch customer-ready services in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Generous cash and equity compensation package designed to reward impact and long-term ownership in a high-growth AI infrastructure company.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their dependents.
- • Wellness and commuter stipends for eligible roles, supporting work-life balance and sustainable commuting options.
- • 401(k) plan with 2% company match for U.S. employees, helping build long-term financial security.
- • Flexible paid time off plan that encourages actual use and supports mental health and personal well-being.
- • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI cloud infrastructure with access to research published at top conferences like NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOG.
