- • As the Product Manager, Partner Experience at EdVisorly, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling the products that define how our institutional partners engage with our innovative platform. This pivotal role places you at the nexus of Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success, where you will translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, champion robust agile delivery methodologies, and transform intricate institutional workflows into resilient and scalable platform capabilities. You will serve as the primary internal point of accountability, ensuring clarity in delivery, discipline in prioritization, and the effective productization of workflows that empower colleges and universities to enhance their support for transfer students at scale.
- • **Roadmap & Outcome-Driven Prioritization:** You will take full ownership of the Partner Experience platform's roadmap, ensuring it is clearly defined, outcome-based, and meticulously aligned with the overarching product direction set by leadership. This involves translating high-level company goals into well-scoped initiatives and meticulously prioritized execution plans. A critical aspect of this responsibility is making informed, thoughtful trade-offs that balance the immediate impact for our partners, the inherent technical constraints, the capacity of our development teams, and the long-term strategic vision for the platform. You will be responsible for communicating these roadmap decisions, the rationale behind trade-offs, and any subsequent changes clearly and transparently to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands what has been prioritized, what has been deferred, and the underlying reasons.
- • **Agile Delivery & Execution Excellence:** You will drive the day-to-day agile execution for the Partner Experience team, encompassing comprehensive backlog management, meticulous sprint planning, effective refinement sessions, insightful retrospectives, and maintaining a consistent delivery cadence. This includes upholding stringent Jira hygiene, ensuring that all work items are clearly defined, accurately estimated, and directly aligned with the defined roadmap outcomes. You will foster a close partnership with the Engineering team to proactively manage dependencies, sequence workstreams for optimal efficiency, and support predictable, high-quality delivery cycles. A key focus will be on continuously identifying and implementing improvements to team processes, aiming to enhance clarity, sharpen focus, and increase overall throughput and effectiveness.
- • **Workflow Discovery & Productization:** A significant part of your role will involve partnering closely with both institutional stakeholders and internal EdVisorly teams to gain a deep understanding of existing manual and bespoke workflows. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale these complex processes, transforming them into robust and durable product capabilities. This requires a nuanced approach to determine whether problems are best addressed through incremental process improvements, targeted tooling enhancements, or comprehensive automation solutions. Your findings from this discovery process will be translated into clear, actionable requirements, detailed user stories, and precise acceptance criteria for the development team.
- • **Platform & Integration Thinking:** You will build solutions with scalability as a paramount consideration, ensuring that the features and functionalities you develop can effectively serve institutions with diverse policies, varying data structures, and disparate existing systems. This involves designing and shipping features that integrate seamlessly and thoughtfully with critical external platforms such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Student Information Systems (SIS), and other relevant third-party applications. You will collaborate closely with Engineering on the technical aspects, including APIs, data models, integration strategies, and technical trade-offs, all while maintaining a steadfast focus on the desired business outcomes.
- • **Cross-Functional Partnership:** Success in this role hinges on your ability to foster strong partnerships across the organization. You will collaborate with the Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure the smooth execution of successful product launches, effective onboarding processes, and high user adoption rates. You will also provide essential support to the Sales and Marketing teams by developing clear product positioning and articulating the value proposition of our offerings to partners. Maintaining consistent alignment and visibility across all departments will be achieved through regular roadmap updates, proactive stakeholder check-ins, and robust feedback loops.
