• • As a Product Manager at Vidrush, you will be instrumental in streamlining execution and ensuring efficient product delivery across various teams, including both standard software development and cutting-edge R&D/AI initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with founders and engineering leads to meticulously define product strategy and set clear priorities. You will translate this overarching strategy into unambiguous, concrete requirements that guide the development process. A significant part of your role will be managing cross-team execution, leveraging tools like Jira to maintain order and clarity. You will be the driving force behind enforcing accountability, ensuring high visibility into progress, and fostering predictable delivery cycles. Ultimately, your objective is to empower the team to ship high-quality work at an accelerated pace, mitigating chaos and fostering a productive environment. • • Your strategic contributions will involve actively participating in defining the product strategy for the upcoming 4–12 week periods, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. You will be responsible for translating high-level company goals into a focused, actionable roadmap, making critical tradeoffs and confidently saying “no” to initiatives that could dilute focus or impede velocity. In terms of requirements and planning, you will excel at authoring clear, concrete feature requirements that precede development, ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding before coding begins. A key aspect of your role will be to align frontend and backend expectations early in the process, proactively preventing costly mismatches and rework later on. You will also define ownership clearly, establishing who is responsible for each task and precisely what constitutes “done” for every deliverable.
• • On the execution and accountability front, you will take full ownership of Jira, meticulously maintaining a clean backlog, expertly running sprint planning sessions, and driving tasks to completion with unwavering follow-through. You will proactively track progress, identifying and surfacing blockers early, well before a task stalls for extended periods. Your efforts will be geared towards continuously improving team velocity and enhancing visibility across distributed teams operating in different time zones. When managing R&D and AI work, you will structure exploration efforts effectively using methodologies like “spikes” and well-defined experiments. You will reduce the risk of endless trial-and-error by clearly defining the purpose of each experiment, establishing specific metrics for success, and setting firm deadlines for decision-making based on outcomes. Crucially, you will ensure that research efforts remain tightly aligned with the overall product strategy, preventing the team from constantly chasing the latest trends without strategic purpose.
