đź“‹ Description
- • Join ClassDojo, a mission-driven company dedicated to providing every child with an education they love, and take the helm as the Product Manager for Revenue Growth on our innovative Dojo Sparks product.
- • Dojo Sparks is our rapidly growing learn-to-read program, built on the science of reading, which has already achieved over $1M in bookings and demonstrated strong early product-market fit.
- • Your primary mission will be to drive the expansion of Sparks from its current $1M+ in annual bookings to over $10M+, by strategically experimenting with and evolving the product to capture a larger share of our vast K-8 user base.
- • This role is pivotal in scaling Sparks, leveraging the enormous existing ClassDojo user base of families with children in reading ages, and converting them into loyal, paying subscribers.
- • You will be instrumental in diagnosing and addressing the core constraints within the entire revenue funnel, encompassing conversion, activation, and churn, rather than solely focusing on incremental optimizations.
- • Your responsibilities will include identifying whether the primary bottleneck lies in initial conversion, user activation, long-term retention, or the fundamental product experience, and then implementing significant product changes to resolve these issues.
- • This is a hands-on role where you will be empowered to redesign onboarding flows, rethink paywall strategies, and even modify core product mechanics to achieve substantial growth, going beyond superficial A/B testing.
- • You will be expected to maintain a high-velocity experimentation cadence, shipping at least one meaningful experiment per week, each supported by clear hypotheses, robust instrumentation, and thoroughly documented learnings.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to build and maintain a dynamic, prioritized growth roadmap. This roadmap will be informed by in-depth funnel analysis, direct user research, and quantitative data, all without the immediate support of a dedicated data science team.
- • You will cultivate a profound understanding of user behavior, specifically why parents choose to retain or cancel their subscriptions, and translate these critical insights into actionable product improvements.
- • You will collaborate closely and directly with a small, exceptional engineering team (4-5 engineers), taking ownership of writing clear product specifications and working hands-on to ensure rapid and successful product delivery.
- • As Sparks begins to explore paid acquisition channels, you will play a crucial role in designing the product loops and user journeys that ensure these paid channels become highly ROI-positive.
- • This position offers significant autonomy, allowing you to operate within the Dojo Sparks product with strong collaborative partnerships across the wider ClassDojo team, all focused on achieving clear, impactful outcomes.
- • You will be part of a culture that values freedom to ship, rigor in measurement, and a relentless focus on growing the overall user base and revenue.
- • The role requires a deep understanding of subscription economics, including LTV, retention curves, and churn cohorts, and how product decisions directly influence these metrics.
- • You will leverage AI tools as a daily force multiplier, assisting in prototyping, building proof-of-concepts, and accelerating the development process beyond what the team size might otherwise suggest.
- • This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of education technology, contributing to a product that helps millions of children develop essential reading skills.
- • You will be working in an environment that values entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and a commitment to user success, mirroring the talent density seen across the broader ClassDojo organization.
- • The role is ideal for someone who thrives in an early-scaling environment, is deeply revenue-minded, and prioritizes learning through rapid iteration and shipping product changes.
- • You will be responsible for the entire user journey from initial discovery through to becoming a long-term, paying subscriber, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience at every touchpoint.
- • This position is critical to the next phase of Dojo Sparks' growth, moving beyond initial validation to significant market penetration and revenue generation.
