- • As a Part-Time, Fixed-Term Product Manager at Cision Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative SaaS products. This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in product lifecycle management, from initial ideation and strategic planning through to development, successful launch, and continuous enhancement. You will be instrumental in driving product strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives, and translating complex customer needs into tangible, market-leading solutions.
- • You will be the driving force behind defining, refining, and executing comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps. This involves a deep dive into market dynamics and customer insights, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research to identify emerging opportunities, validate product requirements, and make informed prioritization decisions that maximize business impact and customer satisfaction.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, finance, legal, operations, and customer success. Your ability to foster strong partnerships will be crucial in translating the product vision into actionable features, detailed requirements, and robust solutions that resonate with our target audience.
- • You will meticulously manage the entire product development lifecycle. This includes the critical tasks of backlog prioritization, strategic release planning, and ensuring comprehensive launch readiness. Your oversight will guarantee that products are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, meeting and exceeding market expectations.
- • Continuous improvement is key. You will actively monitor product performance using a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics. This data-driven approach will enable you to adapt strategies, optimize user adoption, and ensure that our products consistently deliver significant business value and a superior customer experience.
- • As the primary advocate for the customer, you will serve as the voice of the customer within the organization. This involves championing their needs, translating their feedback into product improvements, and evangelizing the product's value proposition both internally to stakeholders and externally to the market, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for our offerings.
- • You will contribute to the continuous evolution of our product management practices. This includes actively participating in knowledge sharing sessions, mentoring peers where appropriate, and contributing to the development of organizational best practices, ensuring that Cision remains at the forefront of product innovation and execution.
- • This role requires a proactive and independent approach to achieving long-range goals. You will be expected to initiate assignments, exercise independent judgment, and discretion in your work. While operating with autonomy, you will also have the opportunity to act as an informal team lead and coach less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- • You will be expected to act as a consultant to management, providing strategic insights and recommendations. Furthermore, you may serve as an internal or external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives, policies, plans, and long-range objectives, showcasing your expertise and leadership capabilities.
- • The position is specifically designed as a part-time role, requiring approximately 3 days per week, for a fixed term of up to 12 months. This flexible arrangement allows for focused contribution while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will be working remotely, with the flexibility to be based in Hungary or Sofia, Bulgaria, contributing to our global team's success.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to performing other duties and responsibilities as required to support the dynamic needs of the business, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to Cision's overall success. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Product Manager to make a significant impact within a leading global company in the PR, marketing, and social media management technology sector.
