Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Manager for the Union.ai Platform, you will own the end-to-end experience for platform operators who evaluate, deploy, configure, and operate Union in Kubernetes and cloud/on-prem environments, ensuring the platform feels designed for their needs from first CLI command to day-2 operations.
- • You will drive the platform operator experience by owning evaluation and onboarding flows, distribution and packaging (including Helm charts and versioning), diagnostics and reliability tooling, operational observability, supported deployment matrix decisions, enterprise customer engagement for feedback loops, and go-to-market collaboration with sales and solutions engineering to define positioning and enablement.
- • You will work directly with the CEO and engineering leadership to set product direction, operating with high independence while bringing product intuition to flex across the full product portfolio as company needs evolve, focusing on making Union feel like it was designed with platform operators in mind.
- • In this role, you will achieve a visible step-change in world-class onboarding and operations for platform operators, expand a broader and clearer supported deployment surface across clouds and on-prem environments, and deliver a “paved road” that reduces friction through default configurations that just work while allowing deep customization for enterprises, ultimately reducing recurring one-offs into scalable abstractions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–5+ years of technical product management experience on developer tools, infrastructure platforms, or deployment/distribution systems with full lifecycle ownership from discovery to adoption.
- • Deep ML/AI orchestration domain knowledge, including understanding of data preparation, model training, experiment tracking, and inference at scale, and how platform decisions affect the end-to-end AI development lifecycle.
- • Product taste with a track record of shipping opinionated, high-craft, end-to-end experiences that delight technical users.
- • Engineering empathy to build credibility with senior engineers and drive alignment through clear specs and crisp tradeoffs.
- • Data-informed decision making using qualitative and quantitative signals to prioritize, measure success, and iterate.
- • Influence without authority to align engineering, design, and customer-facing stakeholders through clear thinking, persuasion, and earned trust, thriving when working directly with executive leadership.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Excellent medical coverage with Union.ai paying 100% of employee premiums and 90% for dependents.
- • Generous dental and vision plans with Union.ai paying 90% of premiums for employees and dependents.
- • Meaningful equity in the form of stock options, making all employees owners.
- • Unlimited time off plus 12 company holidays.
- • 401K match: 100% of contributions up to 3%, and 50% up to 5%.
- • 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers.
- • Flexible work schedule with some restrictions.
- • For in-office employees: lunch provided onsite and a well-stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks.
