Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Manager for Vendor Intelligence & Marketplace at Ramp, you will own the product that transforms how businesses evaluate and purchase software by turning billions of dollars of real-world spend and contract data into actionable intelligence.
- • You will drive the strategy and roadmap for price benchmarking and contract intelligence, build B2B marketplace primitives, and design decision moments that surface the right vendor insights at critical points in the procurement lifecycle.
- • You will partner with data science to develop AI-powered contract analysis and normalization pipelines, define evaluation methodologies, and ensure accuracy and explainability for enterprise customers.
- • You will develop deep expertise in procurement, finance, and legal workflows, translate insights into sharp product bets, and drive cross-functional alignment across GTM, compliance, and support teams to launch and scale high-impact features.
- • This role is based in New York, NY (HQ) with a hybrid requirement of at least 2 days per week in-office, offering the opportunity to build a buyer-side intelligence layer inside a financial platform that directly shapes how companies manage billions in spend.
- • You will work in a high-agency, high-urgency environment where ownership, impact, and building from 0 to 1 are valued over pedigree, and where your work directly contributes to customers saving 5% and growing revenue 16% in their first year.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or related)
- • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with products where data quality and customer trust are the core value proposition
- • Sharp product judgment on data products and marketplaces: understanding flywheel dynamics, network effects, coverage-versus-accuracy tradeoffs, and the cold-start problem
- • AI fluency: hands-on experience building AI features, comfort with LLM-based extraction and retrieval, evaluation methodology, and human-in-the-loop design
- • Strong commercial instincts: understanding how businesses buy software, what levers drive negotiation outcomes, and why price transparency changes behavior
- • Track record building products where trust is earned over time: explainability, auditability, graceful degradation, and clear user controls
- • Comfort working in technical environments (Figma, SQL, Git) and prototyping quickly with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor)
- • Clear, direct communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to make a crisp case for a product bet without a deck full of slides
🏖️ Benefits
- • Flexible PTO
- • Unlimited AI token usage
- • Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- • Health and wellness stipend
- • Budget for intra-office travel
- • Weekly coffee stipend
- • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents (US)
- • One Medical annual membership (US)
- • 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp (US)
- • Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) (US)
- • Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay (US)
- • Pet insurance (US)
- • In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more (US)
- • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)
