📋 Description

• As a Product Manager for Workers Compensation at American Family Mutual Insurance Company, you will be accountable for the P&L of the enterprise Workers Compensation product, driving profitability, growth, and customer experience through data-informed strategies.
• Day to day, you will oversee product strategy development, conduct root cause analysis using internal and external insights, collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance customer experience, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as the primary contact with Product Development, Claims, and Underwriting teams for the Workers Compensation line of business.
• You will join a dedicated product management team within a leading mutual insurance company committed to innovation, inclusion, and employee wellbeing, where your work directly impacts market performance and financial viability of a key insurance product line.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in insurance product management, advanced financial and data analysis, pricing models, underwriting guidelines, and market intelligence, while developing leadership skills in cross-functional collaboration and strategic initiative execution.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service in an insurance or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing insurance product or line of business strategies, including price, product, and underwriting.
• Extensive knowledge of leveraging customer, market, and competitor intelligence to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of advanced financial and data analysis techniques, including pricing models and profitability analysis.
• Previous workers compensation experience in the insurance industry is strongly desired.
• Experience leading projects in product development and product management with profit and loss accountability.
