• • As a Product Manager at Wyzant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nation's largest tutor marketplace. You will be instrumental in driving the evolution of our platform, identifying and prioritizing developments that will yield the greatest impact for our users and the business. This role demands a deep understanding of both the technical intricacies of the Wyzant platform and the diverse needs of our extensive user base, encompassing K-12 students, college learners, and adults seeking to achieve their academic and life goals.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to translate user needs and business objectives into clear, actionable product requirements and detailed specifications. This involves conducting thorough market research, analyzing user feedback, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to define a compelling product roadmap. You will be the champion for the user, ensuring that every product decision is data-informed and user-centric.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves cross-functional collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with our talented engineering teams to ensure the efficient and effective development of new features and enhancements. Furthermore, you will partner with customer success to gather insights into user challenges and triumphs, with sales to understand market opportunities, and with marketing to craft compelling go-to-market strategies. This collaborative approach ensures that we are not only building the right product but also building it right.
• • Post-launch, your role continues as you will meticulously manage the gathering and analysis of user data. This critical step allows you to measure the success of new features, identify areas for improvement, and inform future product iterations. Your ability to derive meaningful insights from data will be key to optimizing the user experience and driving continuous product innovation.
• • You will be responsible for providing regular, comprehensive status reports and strategic recommendations to product team leadership. This includes articulating progress, highlighting potential risks or roadblocks, and proposing solutions to ensure the successful delivery of product initiatives.
• • As a natural problem solver, you will serve as a key point of contact for product-related inquiries and challenges. You will actively collaborate with and manage internal stakeholders, fostering alignment and ensuring that all efforts are directed towards achieving the greatest positive impact for Wyzant's users. This includes navigating complex requirements and facilitating consensus among diverse teams.
