Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Product Manager for AI Agents at Element451, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Bolt Agents and Bolt Copilot — the core agentic AI features that power proactive student support and staff productivity across chat, SMS, voice, and search. This role is critical to solving the higher education staffing crisis by enabling 24/7 personalized student engagement at scale, directly impacting enrollment, retention, and institutional efficiency.
- • You will define product requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ship high-quality, production-ready AI agents that balance innovation with reliability, safety, and user trust. Your work will involve translating complex agentic AI concepts — including context management, tool use, orchestration, and guardrails — into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
- • You will engage deeply with customers — including admissions, advising, and student success teams — through interviews, session replays, support tickets, and usage analytics to uncover pain points and translate real-world feedback into clear, actionable product improvements that drive adoption and satisfaction.
- • You will partner with the CPO and cross-functional leaders to align product strategy with company goals, present progress and insights to executives, and influence go-to-market strategies with sales and customer success teams to ensure product-market fit and rapid iteration.
- • You will foster a culture of experimentation and learning by prototyping with LLMs, evaluating agent performance, conducting A/B tests, and advocating for progress over perfection — ensuring the team learns quickly from real-world use while maintaining high standards for quality and impact.
- • You will mentor and elevate the product team by sharing best practices in AI agent development, advocating for customer-centricity, and helping establish Element451 as a leader in responsible, impactful AI for education — all while working in a flat, high-trust organization where your contributions directly shape the future of student experience technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience building and shipping conversational AI products or AI agents in production, with deep understanding of LLMs, context management, tool use, orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.
- • Strong product management skills including roadmap planning, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear product vision and requirements.
- • Customer-obsessed mindset with demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user feedback — from interviews, session replays, and support tickets — into prioritized product improvements.
- • Excellent communication skills: ability to write clearly, present confidently, and align engineering, design, sales, and leadership teams around shared goals.
- • Passion for agentic AI: active engagement with emerging model releases, agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), and the MCP ecosystem, driven by hands-on experimentation and continuous learning.
🏖️ Benefits
- • 20 PTO days per year plus 10 company holidays, supporting work-life balance and rest.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and dependents.
- • 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% employer match to support long-term financial wellness.
- • Access to modern technology and the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge AI-driven tools and LLMs in a production environment.
- • Fast-moving, mission-driven culture focused on improving access to higher education through innovative AI solutions.
- • High-impact work that directly contributes to solving real-world challenges in student recruitment, advising, and retention at colleges and universities nationwide.
