- • Own end-to-end positioning and messaging for Prophecy, Somnia’s flagship prediction protocol, translating technical primitives like real-time settlement, AI-resolved outcomes, and agentic liquidity into clear, compelling narratives for traders, builders, and partners.
- • Lead go-to-market for every Prophecy launch including mainnet milestones, new market categories, agent integrations, partner activations, and token/incentive events, coordinating cross-functional launch pods across product, engineering, comms, growth, design, and business development.
- • Define and execute the marketing roadmap in lockstep with product and community leads, sequencing campaigns and content to ensure each initiative compounds momentum rather than competing for attention.
- • Build and grow Prophecy’s qualified builder audience through always-on programs designed to attract and retain Web3 builders and traders.
- • Maintain live competitive intelligence on the prediction market and DeFi landscape to continuously refine Prophecy’s differentiation and market positioning.
- • Conduct ongoing customer and market research by engaging directly with traders, builders, and KOLs to inform product roadmap, pricing, and creative strategy.
- • Create high-impact, high-quality content that resonates in the Web3 space including launch threads, longform research notes, explainer videos, dashboards, KOL kits, conference assets, and AMA narratives — with a quality bar of "screenshotted on CT."
- • Partner with communications to secure tier-1 press placements, podcast bookings, and thought leadership opportunities in publications and shows targeted by the core audience.
- • Instrument all marketing initiatives by defining key KPIs and owning weekly reporting rhythms to measure impact, kill underperforming efforts, and double down on what works.
- • Serve as the internal channel partner-in-chief, ensuring all teams and channels ship consistent, on-message activations without requiring direct oversight by briefing them on Prophecy’s core narrative.
- • Write and edit marketing assets directly — from briefs to threads to decks — embodying an operator mindset where you ship the work, not just manage it.
- • Maintain sharp narrative instincts by distilling complex technical specs into viral hooks and concise messaging that builders and traders share organically.
- • Work autonomously in a fast-moving, small-team environment where decisions are made quickly and outcomes are visible within weeks.
- • Operate with a builder’s mentality: allergic to process for process’s sake, comfortable with ambiguity, and focused on execution over bureaucracy.
- • Collaborate with founders, product leads, designers, and BD partners to hold the line on Prophecy’s narrative with clarity, conviction, and adaptability.
- • Communicate fluently in English across Notion, Slack, X, and global calls with international partners and stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in product marketing, with at least 2 years on a consumer-facing Web3 product (e.g., prediction markets, derivatives DEX, perps, options, equities trading, or fintech with a trader audience)
- • Crypto-native: hold a wallet, understand on-chain UX, know the difference between a CLOB and an AMM, can read token incentive designs, and have shipped GTM for at least one Web3 product that reached market
- • Track record of owning end-to-end product launches with measurable post-launch impact; able to detail 2–3 launches including thesis, bets, results, and lessons
- • Sharp narrative instinct: ability to distill technical documentation into 280-character hooks that resonate and get shared; writing samples required
- • Quantitative fluency: frame campaigns as hypotheses, interpret data independently, and make decisions based on metrics
- • Operator mindset: comfortable writing threads, editing decks, chasing assets, and shipping work directly — not just managing others
