  • • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Cox Fleet’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with revenue and growth objectives.
  • • Lead cross-functional GTM initiatives by coordinating product, sales, marketing ops, and communications teams without direct authority, driving alignment and accountability.
  • • Develop and maintain the core product marketing infrastructure, including positioning frameworks, competitive intelligence processes, and GTM launch playbooks used by the entire team.
  • • Serve as the primary product marketing liaison to product and sales teams, translating complex offerings into clear, differentiated narratives that improve sales win rates.
  • • Build and manage sales enablement assets such as pitch narratives, battle cards, objection handling guides, and proof points to equip the field sales team.
  • • Define and track success metrics for GTM campaigns, using performance data to optimize initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify high-value customer segments, emerging threats, and growth opportunities within the fleet maintenance industry.
  • • Elevate Cox Fleet’s industry presence through thought leadership content, executive messaging, and strategic partnerships with industry associations and events.
  • • Translate customer insights, data, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and product teams.
  • • Ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all customer touchpoints including campaigns, digital content, sales tools, and industry events.
  • • Lead annual and quarterly product marketing planning cycles tied directly to pipeline generation, conversion improvement, and customer value expansion.
  • • Partner with Marketing Ops to align campaign execution with channel strategy, audience segmentation, and measurement frameworks.
  • • Use feedback loops from the sales field to continuously refine messaging, tools, and enablement materials for maximum impact.
  • • Operate as a strategic thought partner to the Senior Director, Product Marketing and other senior leaders, pressure-testing ideas and shaping business priorities.
  • • Build and sustain a high-performing product marketing pod with clarity, cohesion, and shared standards for quality and execution.
  • • Maintain fluency in fleet maintenance industry dynamics, including customer needs, buying behaviors, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • • Travel up to 15% of the time to support GTM initiatives, customer engagements, or industry events.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in product marketing, or a master’s degree with 6 years, or a Ph.D. with 3 years, or 12 years of product marketing experience
  • • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end go-to-market strategy, not just executing pre-defined plans
  • • Proven track record of leading through influence in a matrixed organization without direct authority
  • • Strong ability to develop differentiated positioning and messaging for complex B2B solutions
  • • Commercial mindset with a focus on connecting marketing activities to pipeline, conversion, and revenue outcomes
  • • Confident communicator capable of engaging senior executives, product leaders, and sales teams

  • • Base salary range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00
