📋 Description

• As a Product Operations Analyst at Safelease Inc., you will play a pivotal role in bridging product strategy with operational execution, ensuring that innovative insurance solutions are delivered efficiently and at scale. Your work will directly impact how quickly and effectively Safelease brings new products to market, improves customer experiences, and sustains profitable growth in a competitive P&C insurance landscape.
• You will partner with Product, GTM (Go-to-Market), and Support teams to identify operational bottlenecks, design streamlined workflows, and implement process improvements that enhance cross-functional alignment and reduce time-to-market for specialty commercial property insurance products.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Tableau to track KPIs, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights that inform product roadmaps and operational decisions.
• You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles — from scoping and planning to execution and delivery — ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals, while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• You will develop clear, compelling presentations and reports tailored for diverse audiences, including senior leadership, to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on key operational initiatives.
• You will support the design and implementation of scalable processes, particularly in areas like product launches, customer onboarding, and support escalation paths, to improve efficiency as Safelease scales beyond 70 employees toward 100% annual growth.
• You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure operational initiatives are strategically aligned with company objectives, providing analytical backing for prioritization and resource allocation decisions.
• You will facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to maintain transparency, resolve dependencies, and keep momentum on critical projects, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• About the team or company: Safelease is a profitable, fast-growing insurance innovator that designs, underwrites, and distributes its own specialty commercial property coverage — controlling the full stack from product to risk. With over 4,000 properties insured for billions in value nationwide and a team of 70 growing rapidly, you’ll join a high-trust, high-autonomy environment where your contributions are visible and impactful.
• What you can learn or achieve: In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in product operations within a tech-enabled insurance startup, gain end-to-end exposure to how insurance products are built, launched, and scaled, and develop leadership skills in driving change without direct authority — positioning you for future roles in product management, operations, or strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, ideally at a top-tier firm, with exposure to strategy and operations projects.
• Proven project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas for diverse audiences.
• Experience working with Product, GTM, or Support teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
